Petmate Fresh Flow Filters, 3 Filters

I have a rather large feline who thinks water dishes are made to sit in, I have no idea why. He also tends to think the water fountain gets hungry and deposits some dry kibble in there for it...So these filters have a good bit to contend with. Not just normal filtering the water, but keeping it free of black and white fur and disintegrated kibble(yes I change the water daily when I'm home.. but I'm not always home.)With these filters, the water is always crystal clear and free of his "additions."

If you have more than one dog then the watering device and these filters are for you. Each dog is different and they can be a bit more slobbery (for lack of a better word) than the other or others. When I clean the watering device I take this filter out and rinse it thoroughly. That way I can get 2 or 3 uses out of it.Using this type of device saves money on trips to the vet alone - not to mention you have a much happier member of the household.

Hey! I would definitely recommend buying these on here! At petco there 9.99$ for this same 3 pack, so you save a lot more money and you get a good value out of it. It filters my dog water just fine like it's suppose to. Great buy :)

When I first bought the fountain 3 years ago 1 of my cats kept reaching in and shredding the filter. I called Petmate and the rep told me I could use the fountain without the filters which I've done ever since. But since I was ordering something else from Amazon decided to get the filter pack. I use filtered water in the fountain, but without the filter I was cleaning it evey 10 days. I find I can go much longer before emptying and cleaning with the filter. I also notice the flow is better with the filter even at the lowest setting. (My deluxe fountain has a piece that adjusts the flow). My only complaint is the filters aren't cheap.

After having 2 deliveries *of filters* finally got the Petmate ((THE ONES AND ONLY ONES THAT WOULD FIT THAT ***PETMATE*** AS stated originally / Drink knews well they are the competition and their filters would not fit, you can not fit BROOKLYN INTO MANHATTAN. For those involved in CUSTOMER SERVICES of some of these companies, the lies and the nastiness would not reign at the end. unnecessary Rudness on the phone I will not forget / you got a lot to learn. you know who you are !

I have a Fresh Flow 2 and these work great in it. I like the quality. I have bought others one from a 3rd party and was not happy with them. Recommend as with any filter, to rinse them off first before putting them in your fountain. When I change the filter, I like to also wash out and completely dry the fountain. My pups love the fresh flow 2 fountain.

Two cats, two fountains. Have had the fountains for about 4 years now. Key to success, clean them thoroughly every few weeks. Used to find the filters in many stores, then just WalMart, and now they don't have them. Amazon to the rescue!Fountains have contributed to my cats continued good health - filtered, running water is the best. Stagnate the water and you stagnate the cat's health. Petmate fountains don't splash or make a mess, hold a lot of water. I highly recommend them and their filters!

We bought the waterer for our cats years ago because they were monopolizing our faucets for fresh water. You can run the unit without the filters, but they seem to keep the water fresher with the charcoal filtration. I think the pkg says a filter lasts 6 weeks or so, but with 4 cats using it, they last about 2 weeks at our house. So each change runs less than $2 (at Amazon prices). I think the expense is worth it for fresh running water.
