These are very well made and beautiful. They are exactly what I was looking for and I like that they can be used for all happy occasions, not just the new year. I also like that there is no adhesive but rather a flap to tuck the top part into. No adhesive yellowing with age.

With the holidays and Chinese New Year approaching, these are perfect for gift-giving. Pretty, sturdy, and great value.

Good cheap red envelopes that will eventually be trashed anyway, after gifting. Good value. May even make some red envelop lanterns with the excess.

For the price, I am giving this 5 stars. I did not want to spend a lot on something people are just going to throw away so this fit the bill nicely.You do get the 3 designs pictured & a quick count does show roughly 40 each. Atho the koi one seems to be from a different set: the color is more of a dark red while the other 2 are orange-red; the back is adhesive with Chinese characters written instead of a flap; the gold border design is the opposite direction of the other 2 & again with Chinese characters written.The paper is on the thin side but for the price, I cannot complain.The dimensions listed are correct but the picture of the family holding them is a bit misleading. You would be lead to believe that they are much larger based on proportions displayed.

Cute little envelops. A little small tho, but if you fold bills in half it can still fit so perfect. Its a lot too. Will definitely last me for years.
