Fantastic and super-bright reliable flashlight. I purchased the old version with a halogen bulb at a yard sale 15 years ago, and finally upgraded to the LED bulb version so I don’t have to replace the bulb. It’s worth the money! I’ve carried this on walks a few times a week, and used it for something nearly every day. Works perfectly. I have the home charger, and charge weekly at most, even after a few years of use.

Nice. It produces a spot light type beam. It's not the brightest out there... but itdoes have a long reach and does share a charger with my Stinger DS led. And the Ultrastinger does have a longer handle than the stinger adding to its alternative uses. It replaced a much older version that was a solid duty flashlight of almost a decade. Will buy again if I need a replacement

My Ultra Stinger works as advertised and it is exactly what I expected from reports of my friends on the PD. I like the ribs on the rubber grip, they are low contour so they don't get caught on my gloves etc. and it slips easily into my belt holder (sold separately). The Ultra Stinger has 3 brightness settings plus a strobe and these can be "programmed" according to individual preference when the instructions are followed closely. The car charger is a big plus for me. The light is a focused beam that covers an exact spot so if you are looking for a wide angle beam from a flashlight keep looking. 1100 focused lumens is plenty of light. I went to the Streamlight web sight and got all the features of the light I wanted before buying it from Amazon. Do your homework and use the model number because there are many to choose from that seem the same. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, The Stinger has a different configuration than most flashlights to change beam intensity (I like it better than my other lights). I thought mine had malfunctioned until I read the instructions and it was super clear and very easy to switch from one brightness level to the next. One great feature that helps put this over the edge for me is when I push the on switch half way down the light comes on until I let up which is very handy when I just want to glance at something.

Ok, here is the thing. I purchased for my husband for Christmas. This is an absolute wonderful flashlight! Don't get me wrong it is great! Too great actually. This thing could call down aliens if you had too. My husband is outside checking out all the wildlife roaming on our property every night. He is ecstatic with this gift, and is like a little boy playing after dark in the yard. The battery last really good, and it is so durable. He has dropped it a couple times on concrete without getting scratched. I thought about purchasing one for my Dad for Christmas. This flashlight was worth every penny and then some. Great item!

Purchased in October of 2021. Used as patrol light. AMAZING LIGHT! Very bright and impressive throw. Battery would last entire 12 hour shift with regular use . However a week ago the light began to shut off automatically after only a couple minutes of use . Even on a full charge . Not sure if this is a battery or head issue .

Most reliable flashlight I own. Use it every shift. Is beat up now since I’ve owned it for over 8 years but is still old faithful. Only thing I’ve had to replace is the battery every now and then. Would recommend for its heavy duty and lasting quality. Also 1000 lumens is enough for a night shift.

This is a very bright light. It's well made and sturdy. I would definitely recommend it and I would buy it again.

One of my favorite flashlghts in my collections.. a true 1000 lumen light but perfect mix between flood and throw Not really the best if your expecting a defined beam but an amazing flashlghts regardless
