Shirts with buttons are really not my thing but after trying several long sleeved shirts without I decided to give this style a go. My husband says it really suits me, so much so that I'm about to order a second in a brighter color for when we go on vacation with friends. I got the dark green this time because I want it for gardening and dog walking and it's actually a nice color. The shirt is comfortable and very light weight, though I am still hot in it because I live in Houston Texas and anything is hot when it's 90 +. Most importantly it covers all of my arms and neck which as I've got older get horribly red and itchy in the sun, even with sunscreen. The only thing I don't like is that the arms seem big, but I need the large for my body. I wear size 8 in jeans and generally do wear large in most shirts, other than some square-style t-shirts where I can get away with medium.

This is my second purchase of this SPF shirt because I like the first one so much. I wear them for sun protection during mowing and gardening and I’m outside often enough to need 2. Good looking shirt of lightweight fabric that is sturdy and comfortable. It washes up well and dries very quickly. The only reason I docked a star was because a roll up sleeve tab hole was left sewn shut. Not a problem for me but not everyone knows how to use a seam ripper to open the hole. The roll up sleeves are very useful in the heat. Flattering and good looking with any pants or shorts etc.

I bought this shirt for a trip to the Galapagos Islands where the sun is intense and, despite the heat, it is recommended that you wear long sleeves. I am usually a M or L in tops and ordered a M in this based on reviews. For reference, I am 5'9" and 160 lbs. It is roomy and fits more like a large. It is more than long enough thru the torso and the sleeves. It is light weight and has numerous pockets that come in handy for travel or hiking or other outdoor activities. It dries quickly and I even washed it in the sink with some shampoo, rolled it in a towel to squeeze out excess water, shook it out and hung it to dry. It came out looking great and ready to wear the next day. The light blue was not see thru and the color is as shown in the pictures. I ordered the pink as well in a size L for comparison. I loved the color but it was too large and was strangely soaking wet when it arrived despite the exterior packaging being completely dry. I immediately returned it but would have re-ordered if I could have used a second color.

I just hiked in this shirt for 150 miles on the Camino in Portugal and Spain. I had two shirts with me and this was by far my favorite one. It is very lightweight yet protected me from the sun. I bought the pink one and though I’m generally not into pink, this color is soft and feminine, and I received lots of compliments on it. I had to wash it every other day (subbing out my other shirt) and it withstood handwashing (and wringing) as well as a machine washer and dryer. It also dried quickly on a clothesline. I plan to buy more colors to wear this at work. This would be a great shirt if you live in a location with high humidity because of the lightness and breathability. Sizing was just right for me. I usually buy a medium and the medium fit exactly how I like it to.

The lack of quality control in the clothing industry today is appalling! Any other shirt I would have immediately returned. Overpriced. Bad stitching. Bad thread tension. Wrinkles pressed in by shipping “anvils.” Crooked sunglasses holder. But oh, that exact shade of light teal/aqua that I was looking for. My photos do no justice to that beautiful color. Fabric feels like silk. Too bad it’s not. One star for color, another for fit on me, and one more for extremely lightweight, yet opaque, fabric. I’m 5’8” and the tail is plenty long. But for someone 5’6” and under, maybe too long. I sew and alter clothing, so, first thing, I removed the velcro tabs — a menace to fabric in the washer. I will unpick and restitch the bad places, and go merrily on my way to southern shores … as soon as I finish ironing out those stubborn wrinkles (may be finished by Christmas?). Lots of Bounce wrinkle release spray helps. If you want to make your life easier, don’t purchase this shirt.

These shirts are essential for anyone who spends too much time in the sun. They not only protect, but also keep you cooler. I have had my oldest shirts like these for 8 years. I ride horses, so I wash them after every ride. I only get new ones when I realize how long I have had them! My latest purchase was made realizing it is probably time to get a new one. I have 4 older ones. They are still working great.

Arrived on time and in good condition. I am 5'9 and bought a medium. I have a large chest and this fit great. Light, airy, good vents, dry wicking. Would recommend.

I purchased this shirt for a trip to North Africa, so was disappointed to find that it only offers 40+ UV protection, not the 50+ indicated. I also wanted the 'interior locker loop' mentioned in the description for easy hanging for drying, but it is missing. Overall, however, I prefer the fabric of this item over the Columbia shirt of the same style. Others mentioned how thin the fabric is, but to me that is an asset. It feels more breathable, especially if your skin detests man-made fabrics as much as mine does. The size runs large. I am 168cm and 55kg (slightly built). The XS is plenty big enough. I don't know if this shirt will ultimately be suitable for its intended use, but I guess it will be handy for gardening in the Australian sun.
