I used this cable to connect my Honda EU7000is to my Reliance 30A 240V input on the side of the house, which is wired to the load center using a separate two pole 30A breaker and interlock kit. I wanted to run the generator next to my shed under a canopy which is on the opposite side of the house from the load center and input box. We had a 3 day outage this past summer and I moved the generator into place, ran this cable to the input box, shut the main panel breaker off, turned on the generator breaker, then turned on the generator and it ran my whole house. The cable didn't warm up and handled the inclement weather just fine. The connectors are well made and solid when connecting to both the generator and the input box. At 100 FT, it's a bit heavy but it coils up nicely and is easy to clean. Very good quality cable.

Bought this 100' 30amp cable so that I could run my backup generator in my barn instead of on the walkway outside my house. When there's a blackout, dealing with the whining inside the house is enough noise, and "one less annoyance" by getting the generator sound 100' away should be perfect.Cable and materials seem to be of high quality and robust. Tested with my house backup circuit on my Honda 6500SX, and everything in the house seemed happy. When coiled, the cable fits in a space about the size of a milk-crate.

Super high quality SOOW cable, connectors, and assembly.I bought this to connect my generator to the permanent inlet receptacle I wired in this summer. The factory cord was not long enough to put the generator in the back yard where it is quieter. I bought the 30’ version.The cable is supple and easy to bend (rubber feeling rather than thermoplastic). The ends are not moulded, but they are the highest quality L14-30 twist locks I have used (Pass and Seymour). They actually give a positive latching sound when connecting them to each other and they snap together tightly.I measured the cable and it was thirty feet and two inches not including the connectors.The cable smells of VOC’s like crazy out of the box, but I am assuming this will offgass after a while.Highly recommended!

The cord is for my backup generator going to the receptacle on the outside of the house that goes to the main circuit panel that will pull in the case of a power outage. The cord was the length I needed and is very flexible with heavy duty plug ends.
