Lotos Technology TIG200D DC Tig/Stick Welder with Pedal-fit for Stainless Steel, Carbon, Copper and Other Color Metal, Blue/White

Works great stable arc runs 1/8 6010 rod at 230 volt setting. I also tried 7018 1/8 and 6011 1/8 all run well at 230 volts.TIG welds with stable arc. I like the tig torch it has the button in the torch not separate like some torches.Its small size makes it very portable. I think is a great value.

I'm not an expert tig welder by any means I do a little bit at work in a food processing plant were it's all stainless and I picked this up to learn with and maybe do a few side jobs. I was surprised at how well it welded I'm used to a big expensive top of the line lincloln welder and right out of the box this welder worked great I've only used it twice but I'm definitely satisfied with it so far I've shown a few of my friends and they were all shocked for the money I think it's a great buy. I haven't tried the arc welding side of and the only complaint I have so far is the instruction manual sucks I would have liked some more detail, definitely was poor translation of its Chinese counter part but other than that it's a great buy so far but time willl tell

Wish I had more time to comment. Great value, build quality, and performance. I love this welder and I am so happy with it even after months of use.

The TIG worked well. Haven't tried the stick yet. I have a mig so don't expect to use it in the near future. But would recommend to a friend if they were in the market for one. That way they wouldn't keep trying to borrow mine :-). Seriously I am impressed with it

Never worth the price

it done great when I set up to tig on the 110V setting, but when I could not even get it to strike an arc with a 1/8 7018 rod at 110V

I bought this machine along with the "AGPtek® Mig/Tig Welding Argon CO2 Flowmeter" regulatorwhich are sold together in a group purchase option.PROBLEM: the fitting that comes with the regulator DOES NOT FIT the gas hose that comes with the Lotos machine.Why would they sell the regulator with the machine if it doesn't come with the right fitting? oh well.Now to attempt to find the right fitting to go from the regulator to the Lotos hose......(If you're interested) I spoke with a guy at my local welding store who said that there are a number of lower-end welding machines all made in the same factory all with a funny size fitting on the machine and the hose that does not match the industry standard size......This machine happens to be one of those......
