Rothco Vintage Canvas Paratrooper Crossbody Shoulder Bag

To start I just wanted to mention the delivery of this was fantastic, made the order and received all within 2 days BRAVO. The style is fantastic as I wanted something I could sling over my shoulder for a regular day or get away with in abit more of a formal setting, shirt and tie etc. Overall the bag seems to be well made from quite a tough canvas. I would like to say the picture does it no justice. If you open it up, there is small pocket on the front about the size of an A5 notebook and if you lift the flap to the small pocket your confronted with 18 yes 18 pen loops. A pen for every occassion I guess. Then there are 3 seperate compartments for different things each abit larger than about A4. It can fit all you need in for a day whatever the day may bring. For example in mine, one pocket contains my laptop and apperal as well as a portable charger for all your gadgets. The next pocket contains the book im reading at the time and any other paperwork etc I may need for that day, aswel as my digital camera. The third pocket contains more of my apperal (hat,scarf gloves etc). And the front little pocket is an ideal pocket replacement for phone phone wallet etc as its sealed up twice. All this and I still have room to spare. I do have a couple of small points to mention that arnt so good if they could be a deciding factor for you. First is the fact that despite I dont think it says it anywhere on the product description this are clearly military surplus with all the associated markings and smell of being stored for a period of time. Washing before use would be preferable. Also the colour on the item description is much too light when it arrives its Khaki green and stone in colour as it would seem. And thirdly this is more of a personal grumble but i'm quite tall (the larger side of 6'2") and the strap is just a little short if you want you bag to hang down quite a long way.

Great! Just what my son wanted, to look like a cool US Agent! He's in the Military so man-bags generally are not looked upon kindly but this one is deemed OK!

Its well put together, I like it and use mine to carry a 10.2" netbook plus loads of accessories and bits for work, inlcuding my lunch. Has seen a lot of use, including travelling round europe with me and is still all in one piece. My only complaint that the shoulder strap isnt very comfortable if you've got anything heavy in there

Bag itself is ok, however the strap is way too small. I'm 6'2, not a fat bloke, but well built and it sits under my armpit. Yes i have lenghtneded it to maximum & still short. Does anyone know where to get a decne lenght strap???

It's just a cotton bag, and not particularly well made. It isn't particularly sturdy or hold its shape (like the one in the picture does) The fastener is a metal clip which is more annoying than anything. I wouldn't recommend

This is an ok bag. But quality is not great, after 8 months of use, to and from work, the thing has quite a few rips. Low price but can't recommend.

bought this to replace an old bag I used as a "when I need it bag." Now this one is my "daily, carry everything bag." Pros: Good size. Fits a manilla folder or a small laptop easily. Three main sections plus the snap-close flap make organization easy. It is very sturdy and holds a lot of weight without any problem. Because it is all soft fabric, it is decently expandable to fit LOTS of stuff. Cons: The shoulder strap is a bit narrow, but is decently comfortable to carry all day if the bag isn't totally full. But the strap is easily replaceable if you find one you want to use more. I kept the one that's on it just because I liked the look and I don't usually carry too much stuff. Also, the bag had a tendency to hang in a kind of floppy way because it is all soft fabric and the only thing holding it closed is the main flap. However, I was able to fix those last problems with a couple of clever sewing solutions. First, I sewed vertically between the outside front (next to the snap-pocket - in fact, right through the existing seam) to the next divider. This holds that first section closed a little more, and makes a perfect narrow hole to put a water bottle. Easy to slide in and out without unclipping the cover-flap, and prevents the bottle from turning sideways and spilling. Then I sewed two 14" sport-style zippers onto the remaining compartments, which lets me keep them closed or open them completely (sport style are the kind that will separate completely, rather than remaining closed at the bottom end). I can still fit my 11.6" laptop with room to spare, and a 12" paper folder with ease as well. Bottom line: this is a great bag on its own, but with a little work it can be perfect!

Sirve perfecto para cargar cosas no muy pesadas, el material es suave pero propenso a romperse si no se le tiene cuidado ya que el bolso consiste de pura tela. Fácil de lavar y con espacio para cargar libros, objetos pequeños, laptops, tablets, etc.

Bought this bag for my daughter for school, it's new and exciting for the both of us!! She loves it.

Gefällt mir sehr. Sehr guter Stoff, sehr angenehm zu tragen, sieht super aus. Preis-Leistung ist hervorragend. Kann ich sehr weiterempfehlen. Edit 5.4.2016: Auch jetzt nach fast 1 Jahr im täglichen Gebrauch sieht die Tasche immer noch wie neu aus. Sehr gute Qualität. Aber die extrem hohe Preiserhöhung ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Ich hab die Tasche für 12.31 Euro gekauft und jetzt kostet sie das 12fache mit über 140 Euro das Stück! Nicht nachvollziehbar. Für diesen Preis würde ich es auf keinen Fall wieder kaufen. Wollte mir grad ein zweites kaufen. Aber nicht für diesen Preis!!!! Frechheit
