The risers click together easily to add more height, while the deep well of the top cup is deep and wide enough to accommodate my bed rollars. Stacking 2 together adds almost 4.6" so it might be too high for an elderly person. The cushions that go between riser and floor do not have adhesive, so if you try to move the bed risers, the cushions won't move with the riser. That is a negative because the only way to move the riser with the pad is to take the mattress off the bed to reposition the risers. Got to position the bed correctly the first time unless you just like weightlifting your mattress. This may not be an issue on carpet as I don't think you would need the pads on carpet. However, they are much sturdier than another brand that I had to return. I wanted the extra height in order to temporarily store a great deal of boxes under my bed as I transition to a smaller place. These provide a stable space to do that. My spread still covers to the floor, so the clunky look is not an issue for me. Not sure I would use them in a living room setting as they are not esthetically pretty. Bottomline: functional, stable, not pretty and not easily moved. Still a good option for me and better than alternative products for someone a bit older.

Perfect! In this age of shoddy products, its surprising to find one that has every possible feature, done perfectly. A rubbery non-slip base that snaps on its base, to protect the floor. A rubbery non-slip pad that its inside the top receptacle, so the foot of the bedframe doesn't shift around. The riser itself has thick, heavy-duty walls of plastic, reinforced inside with crosspieces. plastic. My bed has a bolted-on, old-fashioned wooden headboard that has its own sturdy posts, and it's these posts rather than the casters on the bedframe, that bear the weight of the head of the bed. The receptacle at the top of the risers is just right for fitting the "legs" of the headboard. I don't need risers for the foot of the bed, because the object is to have just my head and torso elevated (reflux). Very happy to find this excellent product and at a good prive!

Wow!! What a difference these have made!! Very sturdy and look great! Arrived quickly & packaged perfectly. Rubber bottom & inside inserts fit perfectly. Easy install. Decided on these vs. wood, which could possibly split. VERY happy with our decision. Will purchase again for other furniture 😊

Beautiful, they matched my wood almost perfectly. Important measure your legs on the furniture we measured them they were three and a quarter this fit perfectly but they were my third set before I found the right ones. These are wonderful

I ordered these for $40+ because the header said wood risers. They're plastic just like the black ones that sell for much less. I deducted 2 stars because of that. I would have kept them in spite of that, but they were too to tall for my sofa and made it look weird. They're sturdy, and just like the cheaper black ones, they have foam-like inserts that keep the item being raised from slipping around and off the riser and a rubber-like square that snaps onto the bottom of the riser to keep it from slipping and marring the floor.

This product is great! I was quite skeptical about using bed risers simply because I ultimately expected them to be cheap and flimsy, but after setting them up yesterday, I’m a believer! Even after the kid test, the dog test, and the *ahem* test, my bed didn’t budge an inch! The grips that go in the top and around the bottom work like a charm, and honestly, I bet a truck could drive over one and it would be just fine! Now to buy longer bedding and under bed storage and I’ll be all set!

Bought these for our two week road trip to elevate the head of the bed in the hotel rooms (for medical reasons). These worked amazingly well and were small enough to pack in the suitcase. I love that they are stackable and sturdy

The price was right. The blocks have a wood grain but they made of a durable plastic. They have no skid bottoms to hold the bed frame in place.
