Comprehensive Civ Pro Review
I used this for an 8 hour final this past week and was SO glad I did! I bought the "Crunch Time" version for my 8 hour con law final 2 days later and was kicking myself the entire time. If you have the time to read through this book (or even just sections of it for a final as I did) it is definitely worth it. I don't know that I would recommend a book like this for a simpler subject like torts, but I felt much more confident being able to check my answers, knowing I wasn't forgetting to cross-reference another rule that I hadn't remembered, etc. With all the reading law school gives to begin with, I wouldn't use this during the semester, but I definitely plan on using the full emanual books in the future for all my 8+ hour exams! Highly recommend it.

A good source
A good book. It stands alone as a useful text and as a good reference. I own the Kindle version. Law school is a lot of reading. What a joy it is to have the book read to you. It's obviously a little slower than reading it on your own, but when there are times when it's hard to focus it's great to have it read.

Excellent Resource for 1L Students!!
I have only had this book for three days, but in that short period of time this book has helped me to understand concepts such as jurisdiction and service that my professor does a lousy job of explaining to our Civ Pro class. This book is very well written in plain, easy to understand words, and it is well organized. I especially like the capsule summary, which will be very helpful come finals time in December. If you are a 1L student struggling with Civ Pro, I highly recommend this book without hesitation.

Perfect for outlining
I had an awful Civ-Pro teacher, I mean really the worst. This book might be the only thing to save me in that class. Really broke things down and explained it much better than my professor. Great examples along with the text.

the best supplement
i'm a huge fan of these outlines. ive bought other supplements in the past, but the emmaneul ones always follow the textbook carefully and give the best case summaries.

Three Stars
it is not a complete outline and lacking in substance.

Ok, but Examples and explanations is a lot better. Civil Procedures usually needs to be taught with examples to better understand and this book only really gives outlines and definitions. It basically just copies the FRCP word for word...

Long.
Its long but doesn't really say much. It will explain a general topic but that's about it. I hope as I use it more, there is some progress.
