Good fit, great value
Received my springsuit yesterday and was pleased at what I got. I'm 5'8" and 162lbs so I fell somewhere in the medium range. The medium fits a bit snugly but not uncomfortably. I had previously purchased a Pi-Pe spring suit in medium only to find that the sleeves were as loose as a Hawaiian shirt. Legs and neck too. Wetsuits are meant to be snug where water may enter to limit the turnover of water trapped in the suit. This means snug collar, arm cuffs and leg cuffs. The Hyperflex fits snugly in all three areas. No bunched up or folded material in arms or legs. Nice. The seams were all well done and free of imperfections. Like most suits, the zipper pull is long enough for donning and doffing the suit without help with the zipper. Thickness feels a bit thinner in arms so it could be that the torso is 2.5mm and, for freedom to move the arms, the sleeves are 2mm. That of course is only my suspicion.chest panel not being covered in fabric since surfboard wax tends to rub off on the chest while paddling out into the lineup. I can't wait to spend some time in the water surfing today so I can make some observations about the Hyperflex in action. I'd expect the suit to provide the same warmth as any 2.5mm suit would. Neoprene is neoprene. Aside from thickness of the neoprene, the only real difference in any suit is how far they go in sealing the zippers and collar against cold water intrusion, the quality of build (determines likely lifespan of the suit), and above all else, fit, fit, fit. The Hyperflex is no Mercedes, but it appears to be a well-fitting excellent economy suit for those like me, who plan occasional use during a short season where it's too cold for no suit, and not yet cold enough for a full suit.Update 09/24/17: I've used this suit a few times now in water ranging from 66 to 68F, 10-15MPH offshore wind, air temp 65 to 75F. The suit fit well, was easy to don and doff, and kept me perfectly warm. It's a bit chilly if you're swimming in it, but since surfing involves a lot of paddling and some sitting on the board, it's just right. Flushing (water running into the suit at the neck, leg or arm holes) was minimal which is great and kept the suit warm thanks to a tight fit at the outlets. Since the suit has performed perfectly for it's intended use, I'm giving it another star. It may lack options found in pricier (much pricier) suits, but it was intended to be a value suit and it's an exceptional value at that.

Decent construction, but too much velcro
This review is by husband of account holder. I needed replacement shorty for a windsurfing trip to Baja. Slipped into it at home while my wife was still at work, and found the XL pretty close to perfect. I'm a lifter, big in shoulders and upper arms, and suit seemed a bit bunchy in the armpits. It'll work, but not perfect. The key thing, however, is the time-honored problem of wetsuit escape. This one trapped me in its clutches, because of too much velcro positioned too far below the neckline along the back zipper channel. I could touch it with my finger tips (reaching behind myself), but my arms were simply not long enough to open the velcro so I could pull the zipper down. I thought, "This is ridiculous -- I'm trapped in my wetsuit." I texted my wife -- Hurry home, I'm trapped! I struggled and struggled to loosen the velcro so I could get out, but to no avail. Thirty minutes later, my wife arrives and loosens the velcro so I can unzip. Once outside the suit and assessing the design problem, I imagined a simple solution. Remove the lower of the two velcro patches. I'm about to surgically (with Xacto knife ) remove the stitching and the lower of two Velcro patches, in belief that that will solve the problem. (Tick-tock tick-tock ... time passes while I do this). Voila! It works. Suggestion to manufacturer: Do this before sending to customers; help them avoid becoming trapped in an otherwise fine product. And look at all the money you'll save by not having to use that extra 2.5 inches of velcro and the labor costs of stitching time from each product. One other suggestion I would offer Hyperflex is to provide more of a non-velcro tab at the exposed end of the upper velcro closure, so someone (equally muscley to yours truly) reaching backward over their shoulder has something more to grab. As it is, you have to release a velcro attachment, then fold it to the left and attach it to the left side of the suit to keep it from auto-closing while you attack the zipper lanyard. But that's a minor quibble -- it didn't take me but 10 seconds to free myself after removing the lower velcro patch. I'm looking forward to my vacation, confident that I won't become the first shorty wetsuit fatality.

So comfortable!
Fits perfectly and is not too cold nor too warm.Once it's on it is comfortable as can be. It is a bit of a chore to get on and off, but hey it's a wetsuit and my joints are 76 years old.Great product!

Good Spring Suit
This is my first spring suit. It fits snug and keeps me warm. I like how the chest protection with rubber when I get onto boards with griptape. The arm and leg sleeves are snug around my legs to prevent heat loss, but not cutting off circulation. I am a little worried that the sleeves might stretch out after using it a lot. I have seen other suits with adjustable straps around the ends of the sleeves. There is plenty line for someone to assist you in grabbing the back strap to unzip yourself. However, it can be a bit difficult to grab the strapif you have bigger shoulders.Overall, a great wetsuit with some improvement ideas. It keeps me warm, is snug, and doesn't draw in tons of water.

Size matters
Before buying it, I read all reviews, and they were helpful. It was my first wetsuit so I did not know what to expect in terms of fitting and tightness. I am usually a size 4, so I ordered the size above, a size 6 but it was still really really tight. I was not sure it was too small though. So I ordered a second one in a size 8 to compare. That was much better. Some customers do order 2 different sizes at the same time and I think that was a better idea ! Pay attention to the velcro when you open the neck, you may pull on the wrong one. I did not try the suit yet but I like it already.

Works great for me!
This is my first wet suit, so I'm no expert but, I love mine! I followed the measurements carefully and it fits perfectly. Because of the long ribbon attached to the zipper I can use it easily by myself. I'm using it for long distance swimming in my Canadian lake which is getting pretty chilly now and it keeps me relatively warm. It has to have a high collar to keep the cold water out so that's a bit awkward when doing the breast stroke but it's not a big problem. Overall very pleased with my purchase!

Bad sizing BUT great quality.
Followed the size chart but it was wayyyyy too small. Barely got over my shoulders. I’m 163lbs and 5’4 and ordered a 8 as I was advised to go with the bust and waist primarily. 2 stars because it was awesome quality, I really wished it fit. But the gap in the zipper made me unsure if a 10 would be right or a 12 could be too big. Sadly I had to request a refund. Funds were returned in like 2 days. Still hunting a shorty.

Good product, looks nice, but
Wetsuit looks good, seems wellmade. Ordered XXL, I am 180 cm. And a bit fat around my waist. It fit fine except around shoulder and arm. Returned product, no problem.

Good fit except in shoulders.
This fits great everywhere except in the shoulders which are a bit tight. Hopefully once in the water the shoulders will loosen up enough not to cause an issue.
