3 Year Update
I bought this tent after going on a 4300 mile motorcycle trip, the tent I had on that trip worked fine, even in the rain, but I'm at an age where I want to be able to stand up to put my pants on. After reviewing a number of tents I selected the Core 4 as it met my height requirements and it's packed size was almost identical to the tent I had before. This summer I took another 4300 mile trip out to Sturgis South Dakota and back. This tent served me perfectly. It's easy to setup, durable, doesn't need to be staked out in mild weather and packs up just as quickly. Getting the rain fly on when the tent is setup can be a trick, but if you put in it place before setting the poles makes it simple. We had beautiful weather for nearly the entire trip, but we did have one night of rain. It was raining when we pulled into the campground but rain let up long enough to setup camp. After dinner the rain began and rained all night long letting up about 6am. The tent kept me perfectly dry. Other than condensation there was no water in the tent. The taped seams remained water proof. On the return trip we detoured to Roleau Saskatchewan to visit the filming location of the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas. There's a constant wind on the prairie so I had to stake the tent down while we were there, it was the only time I had to use the stakes. Another motorcycle camping trip in the bag and again this tent served me well. Other than some wear showing on the poles the tent is going strong. I didn't face any weather on this trip, but wouldn't have worried if I had, the tape on the seams still looks factory new so I'm sure it would have held up well. The money I've saved by camping instead of going to a hotel/motel has practically made this tent free. All in all, this is a great tent, while I was using it for a solo adventure there's plenty of room for two people plus gear.

Amazing tent; WATERPROOF!
Setup is an absolute breeze. Takes maybe 20 minutes your first time and then you really can do it in 5 minutes with 2 people working well together. This thing is waterproof! The first time we used it there was a storm with torrential rainfall. So much that water flooded underneath the floor of the tent and our ground tarp. There was so much water we felt like we were sleeping on a water bed, yet absolutely no water leaked or seeped in. The vents did let a little in but that was our fault for not zippering them closed. It rained so hard that rain was finely misting through the ceiling; it was NOT LEAKING, but pushing through the fibers of the fabric to make a super fine mist. Nothing got wet though. During the storm we kept saying “this tent is getting 5 stars!” I LOVE all the windows and the vent system did work really well. Many of the tents on the market have rainflies that cover the windows making them useless if the rain fly is on. This tent does not, which allows you to have the windows cracked and breezy even if it’s rainy. The 6-person fits 2 cots, 2 opened carryon suitcases with roomy to dress and move about. We love that you can stand up in it with no issue or concern - we are 5’ 7 and under.

Needs rain fly to stand up to wind
I needed a fairly easy to set up smaller tent for a bicycling trip 2 of us go on every year. Our previous tent finally started to leak to the point it wasn't salvageable. This one appealed to me because we are able to fully stand up in it while getting in our bicycling gear for the day. Pros: -We could stand up fully in the tent to get ready, even a 6' 2" person. -It fit our sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and a few bags of gear without a problem. -The air vent at the floor actually provided a nice breeze through the tent. -It stood up to 20+ mph winds when other tents were blowing over... after we properly secured the ran fly and guy lines. -I was able to set it up myself alone, until I got to the rain fly. I needed a little help with that, but I imagine if I were taller I may have been able to do that myself. -The tent is very easy to fit back into the tent bag, even when everything is all wet, and you're packing up in a hurry. And the long handles on the tent bag make it easy to throw over a shoulder and carry. Cons: -It will NOT stand up to any wind without the rain fly and guy lines properly staked. It was blowing over in 6 mph winds. I enjoy camping in a tent with the rain fly off when I'm mostly certain it will be a clear night. And my kids love backyard camping occasionally and stargazing while in their tent. This is not the tent for that. -Could not remove the rainfly to let the built up heat out of the tent without risking it being blown over. -It seems to have a slightly smaller footprint than my last 4 person tent. -The door is awful. -The side pockets could be slightly larger. Overall, it meets our needs for our yearly couple nights bicycling trip. We have a larger family tent for actual camping trips that I greatly prefer. I wouldn't want to camp in this tent for longer than a couple nights, mostly because of the necessity of the rain fly at all times, but for an easy up and down and the convenience of being able to stand up in it, it's fine.

Well made and highly functional tent. I’m 6’2” and can fully stand up inside and lay down with feet to spare all around me. On the large size for a 4-6 person tent. Nice tent floor as well. Goes up and down very easy (not a pop up tent) and with not trouble at all. Not 5 stars because the top of the tent is all screen mesh so sand can blow inside under the rain fly on windy sandy days. Description of tent was intentionally not very descriptive of the roof being one big window that can’t be zipped closed. Not for rainy use as rain will blow in easily as well. I bought a tarp and use that over the roof to keep out sand and rain (when required). For hot and sunny days with no dust or rain this tent is for you as the fly over the top will keep you cool.
