The comfort that these headphones provide after breaking them in for a few days is unreal, the audio quality is also crisp, with a more "fun" tone, however for streaming purposes, the open-backed design is optimal, allowing you to head your own voice more easily whilst speaking, and providing a simplistic yet optimal solution for such purposes. The build quality also justified the potentially off-putting price too, with a sturdy and robust construction with a central metal headband surrounded with an easily detachable faux leather buttoned cover. This allows for maintenance over time and for repairs if needed, defying an otherwise common practice of planned obsolescence and disruption of right-to-repair. Finally, the cable itself is very high quality, and is rather long, ensuring that it will not become an issue, whilst also seemingly being resistant to tangling and interference. The headphones weight is relatively average, perhaps on the heavier side, however once the headphones have been broken in, you almost forget you are wearing them. I use these headphones for a mixture of gaming and music listening, and i can easily say that they perform extremely well for both applications. I have been able to hear the smallest details whilst gaming with ease (such as otherwise hard-to-notice distance footsteps), and have also been able to hear small details whilst listening to music in much the same manner. Overall, I can easily recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a quality product, however I will mention that for the best experience listening, an audio interface / amplifier is recommended to reach comfortable levels at high quality. This is not as much of an issue with the 80ohm variant as with the 250ohm variant, however it should still be considered regardless.

I was drawn to these as you see they have been extremely popular in the content creator space. I have not been let down, the sound clarity & quality has been great, they are comfy and the design is such that you could remove the cans and customise them if you wish. They have stood up to being knocked around somewhat so the durability is good too.

The adjustable headband and plush ear cushions ensure a comfortable fit for most head sizes. In terms of sound performance, the DT 990 Pro excels in delivering crisp highs, detailed midrange, and tight bass response. The sound signature is relatively neutral, with a slight emphasis on the treble frequencies, making these headphones well-suited for analytical listening. I use steelseries sonar for gaming, so I can adjust these and get the exact sound I want, but to be fair out of the box they are fine. However, it's worth noting that the open-back design also means these headphones lack isolation from external noise, which may not be suitable for use in noisy environments or for individuals who prefer privacy during their listening sessions. Probably wouldn't use them on the commute.

These are great headphones with very wide sound stage, but if you want a more accurate pair of headphones you might want to spend a little extra and get the DT900 Pro X. It depends also on the type of music and what your using them for, if you want a pair of headphones for listening to music that has a lot going on like classical music, the DT990 Pro are better suited or if your a musician wanting that wide sound stage they're great for placing your sounds. If you plan on not just mixing your music but mastering aswell then the DT900 Pro X are better for this. The DT900 Pro X have slightly less sound stage its like they are a semi closed back headphone compared to DT990 Pro. Both types of headphones are really great in there own way, would recommend both models.

These are without doubt the comfiest headphones I've ever worn and the sound quality is really good but the bass and volume were just too low for me so they was returned. Always wanted to try some wired headphones as they're supposed to have superior sound quality but unlike bluetooth headphones that have apps to adjust things unless you have lots of equipment to be able to adjust the EQ and stuff you've no way of adjusting things if your just using them for listening from a phone like i was looking to do. Looked into trying a headphone amp but didn't really want to keep spending additional money on the chance of improving things.

Really clear sound and comfortable.

I always use to get the like 'gaming' headsets which cost about the same and honestly I'm shocked with how much money I wasted because the dt990s are the highest quality and best sounding headphones I've ever heard even compared to the 200 quid headsets I've bought before which were just overpriced junk honestly just save your money get yourself this and a stand alone mic because these sound amazing with a large soundstage and are surprisingly easy to drive with my PC and a stand alone mic will always sound brtter than the little plastic nubben on headsets Aswell the open back design and being able to hear myself is actually quite a nice quality of life change just ensuring I'm not being too loud or being able to talk to someone whilst they're in it might not be for everyone but I can only assume the close backed dt770s are just as good for people who prefer that design

... if you do have long or thick hair, the comfort strap at the top might be a bit uncomfortable to wear for a long duration of time. Otherwise they sound great and they are built well, I game with these things, and let me be the first to tell you.. they've survived being knocked against the table, thrown across the room and being sat on my myself, so yes, they are built well. Bewusst 80 Ohm genommen. Sind am Elgato XLR angeschlossen, das Teil könnte niemals 250 Ohm befeuern. Mal zum Testen an den PC angeschlossen, Lautstärker reicht immer noch völlig aus, aber schon etwas leiser. Wenn ich die Kopfhörer an meine Logitech-Lautsprecher anschließe (welche ebenfalls einen Kopfhöreranschluss haben) höre ich fast gar nichts mehr. Es gilt also die altbewährte Weisheit: Man muss sich im Klaren sein, wie viel Ohm man befeuern kann, und entsprechend hier einkaufen. Für mich, als Bass-Head, ist der Bass sehr mager. Das ist wohl die Qual der Wahl. Ich habe sonst immer AirPods Max verwendet, geschlossene Kopfhörer mit super Sound, aber auch einer Menge hochgedrehten Bass, damit's einfach ballert. Das fehlt mir hier zwar, aber das ist eigentlich auch eher weniger Sinn des Produkts, sondern vernünftiger Sound für Referenz-Zwecke. Bei allen Tracks, die nicht sonderlich auf Bass aufbauen, kommen die Kopfhörer so richtig zur Geltung. Meiner Freundin z.B. fehlt der Bass fast gar nicht, ist also eine sehr subjektive Geschichte. Produkt wirkt insgesamt sehr wertig. Sehr langes Kabel, solide Qualität, kann man echt nicht meckern. Bin trotz der genannten "Schwachstellen" sehr zufrieden, aber man muss sich einfach im Klaren sein, was man hier kauft.

Aqui la humilde opinion de un fanático a la musica. Compré la versión de 80 ohms. [ Rectificando mi Opinion despues de 8 meses de uso] Calificando del 1 al 10 comparando calidad- precio. Construcción: 8.5 ya que el cable no es desmontable y algunos puntos te pondrán medio nervioso(a) pero eso es todo la calidad en general es muy buena. Comodidad: 10 sin pensarlo; son ligeros, super comodos por largas horas de uso y el cable no pesa. *Calidad de Sonido en frecuencia plana. Graves: 10 Simplemente hermosos, excelente extensión de graves, son bajos correctos, limpios, con 0 reververacion y 0 ganancia extra. Medios: 9.2 Estan bien, son claros pero como que les falta poquito mas. Eso si, no se que tienen pero para aquellos que amanos la belleza femenina, las voces de mujer aqui son un deleite al oido. Agudos: 10 asi de simple; no lastiman, son aereados, muy precisos y con mucho detalle. En general son una casi excelente calidad de audio por su precio, por algo son legendarios en el campo de la masterización, aqui si van a encontrar muchos detalles en la musica y si una canción fue mal grabada desde el estudio aqui si lo van a notar. Por el precio es de lo mejor que puedes encontrar. Un DAC AMP es recomendable mas no necesario para la versión de 80Ω te van a funcionar bien casi con cualquier dispositivo en un volumen decente. Sin embargo con un DAC AMP mejoras un poco mas la calidad de sonido en todas las frecuencias, yo los uso con un Fiio K3. OJO: El sonido cambia de manera positiva conforme los vas usando a los 3 o 4 meses de uso van a notar la diferencia. Al principio yo sentia que les faltaba bajo y que los medios estaban apagados y los agudos se sentian un poco acentuados pero no, como que los drivers se aflojan con el tiempo y mejoran en manera notable. Estos audifonos yo los recomiendo para quienes quieran empezar a introducirse al mundo audiofilo y no cuenten con mucho presupuesto.
