100 % Water Tight During Long Showers
1) I take long showers.2) I've used other products for upper limb protection from moisture3) I'm using this to cover a PICC line and its adhesive cover4) In this application, it is absolutely critical to have 100% water proof covering during showeringI've used the usual disc shaped ends type limb surgery covers for both my current (upper arm) and prior (foot, calf) post surgery moisture protection. This product I am reviewing is 100% water tight during my long showers while fully moving my arm in all directions throughout the long showers, and while washing right next to the edges of the outer Silicone sleeve. My PICC line has been bone dry every time. This is by far the most perfect solution to keeping an open skin area dry. I would never use any other product.I have experienced, with those other design surgery area waterproofing sleeves, leakage. In fact, with those other, inferior products, I expected leakage. To confirm I have no moisture creeping in at all during my showers, I place a cut doubled piece of paper towel over my PICC line cover, then pull the inner sleeve (an ingenious addition for the outer Silicone sleeve) over the area, holding the paper towel over the PICC line. The inner sleeve fits tight and keeps anything from moving, plus it keeps the capillary lead tube that connects to my IV supply (which of course is disconnected for showering) in place while I pull the outer sleeve over my arm. This thing doesn't move. It stays in place with all my arm activities during my showers. If I could give this product ten stars, I would. The price is very reasonable.

Picc line cover
This system has two covers. One cover to secure line and one cover for waterproofing. Used over the course of 6 weeks and worked perfectly. It was very durable and no worry about it slipping or moving during shower. Worth the money for piece of mind.

Movement and dryness
Best purchase I've made!I'm a Leukemia Survivor but I'm having infusions again as cells were found. I purchased this sleeve before I went in because I'd have another picc line. This is a 3 piece set. It comes with 2 fabric sleeves, and the silicone oversleeve. The fabric is soft, goes on very easily and stays in place. Then the silicone sleeve goes over that. I will say, it's a bit of a struggle. I did it by myself but if you have help, it would be easier..the silicone sleeve fits snugly but doesn't cut into your arm. It's also slim. I was able to get a nice hot shower with ease of movement and no moisture got inside the sleeve. When I removed it, which was alot easier, my arm, bandage, and picc line were completely dry. Also, the silicone sleeve dried fully in minutes! I have a small mesh bag I keep all of this in so it's clean and ready for use.I've used those large, bulky, rubber gaskets type but they cut into my arm, are cumbersome, and the bandage was always damp. Not with this one.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM

Great sleeves, shower sleeve under question
The sleeves are nice and durable, I only used these 2 for 6 weeks, I hand washed them alternately and used a stretch net for the night cause it is more breathable. The sleeves are snug and stretchy, very comfortable. I did not use the shower sleeve because of the plastic ends that are huge and uncomfortable under your arm, not sure what inspired the design. But the sleeves are excellent. Price wise it made sense to get these and another shower sleeve.

Could work for a caste but not appropriate for a Picc line
This item does not seem appropriate for covering a Picc line. The silicone is very tight and pulls on the arm hair, never mind getting it up far enough on the arm to cover the Picc Line. We did not use, and would not recommend. It could actually pull the Picc line out, when trying to remove it over the line. No thank you.

great help during a difficult time
The sleeves came in a muli pack. This allowed for cleaning one while the other was being used. Even the home nurses that saw them were impressed by them. The comfort of the product during the heat of summer weather was great. Ease of putting it on was not a problem.
