Super pleased with this. I have a uniden Bearcat scanner. It comes with a telescopic aerial which needed upgrading because I wasn't getting great reception. Plugged this in and have been picking up stuff in Jacksonville. Florida, southern california and ohio! Certainly an impressive start! Neat size as well. Only downer is the stand/podium, which is magnetic, doesn't balance well on non magnetic surfaces. Could do with more weight. But for the price, it would be unfair to mark this product down based on a minor issue. Main thing is, my reception greatly improved.

It works, my Uniden Bearcat came without an aerial so ordered this up to have an initial play around with it. It picks a few things up and, for the price, I can't grumble so much. Its a very small aerial, smaller than I thought it was going to be (that's my fault though really). The magnet is weak. But the aerial itself works.

Got this for the scanner I got just as reviews for the scanner said good to have an external aerial. Came same time as scanner and when opened thought this may be to small. It actually works a treat 30 miles plus in open country so for a tenner bargain. Great bit of kit for the money. Don’t go driving round with it though over 30 your pushing it to stay on but still great. Good signal works well love it for the size and money.

Item is pretty much as expected. It does work if you need a little mag mount aerial. It's never going to be a DX performer but will improve your handheld by giving an external aerial. I would probably not advise using it on a car above about 30mph though as the magnet is not the best

This magnet doesn't stick to the car at all, it keeps falling off while driving. Very bad product!!!!! This should probably be sold for 1 pound

Great aerial for Bearcat really makes a difference to reception

This is a good aerial considering it's made in China, smaller than I thought and doesn't have to be used in a car as it can be used indoors

it works decent on vhf uhf not that great it gave 1 signal point on a repeater where i have 7 signal points on with a telescopic antenna.

Hallo, Der Magnetfuss ist schwach, aber das ist der einzige Minuspunkt bei dieser Antenne. Der Pluspunkt ist die Empfangsleistung. Diese Antenne ist Resonant ab ca 90mhz bis ca 500mhz. In diesen Breich hält sie locker mit einer sehr viel größeren Dicoune Breitband Antenne mit. Das ist gelinde gesagt ein Wahnsinn! Ich habe dieses kleine Teil mittlerweile 10 mal gekauft weil ich sie weiterverkauft habe. Ich weis nicht wie die Chinesen diese Wunderantenne zusammen gebaut haben, aber die ist wirklich jeden Cent wert, und schlägt 5 mal so teure Antennen um Längen!! Ich bin begeistert und kann diese Antenne ohne Vorbehalte gerne als Scanner Antenne im Frequenzbereich von 90 bis 500mhz empfählen, die ist auch im Flugfunk sehr gut Lg Oliver
