My requirements in a perfect lash are: (1) I like a shorter but volumized look so that they don't look fake - unfortunately most shorter lash strips don't provide much volume at all - they are sparse. I want volume, just a shorter length (2) I need the longest part of the lash in the center, not on one end. (3) They must be reusable - lashes are too expensive and I wear nearly every day. (4) I don't like a solid black band at the root, I want the invisibile band where it looks like the root of the lashes growing out of your lid as opposed to a band of eyeliner. .........These are PERFECT and meet all my requirements, which has been very, very hard to find. It's taken me a year of wearing strip lashes, with over 20 types tested to come across these. They are not solid in stores where I live (and I'm in an urban area, not in the boonies!), and I saw a blog post from someone lamenting that these lashes are not more widely available. Thank goodness for Amazon.Here is how I wear them -- I cut each lash in three sections - middle, and two ends, and this allows me to more easily place and remove them (with a slight overlap because my eye width is slightly smaller than the full lash provides -it doesn't look weird b/c the lashes are fairly dense at the root, so the overlap isn't noticeable). I use Tarte glue - it's $9 a tube which is a steal for a high end glue, and it just works for me - it holds really, really well (no lifting on the ends during wear!) but there is an ever-so-slight rubber texture when it dries so it's not crispy, and it comes off much easier from your own lashes AND your strip lashes. I tried Star glue which you can buy on Amazon and gets great reviews - it also has that rubber texture, but somethig about it made my eyes itch. The Tarte glue doesn't do that, and I've read it's great for sensitive eyes.

These are a great everyday lash. They are not outrageously long like most I find, that are the style these days but they are perfect for normal day wear.Because they are shorter and have a very thin band they look real. I curl my real lashes and put one coat mascara then put the glue on top of the band and place them so they are sitting up. Then I add a couple coates of mascara. This makes the lashes visible. They were hard to find so I'm really happy Amazon is carrying them. I've tried lots of different styles for the casual, natural look and these are the winner every time!
