I love all the smart features of this lock! A lot of thought went into creating it! Comes with a suggested combination and card for easy, quick use. Store away card with code if you choose to keep it. Comes with a paper template for your door installation super helpful. & VERY easy to follow instructions. Please please please read all instructions carefully and thoroughly FIRST so you don’t void the warranty on the locks! Super easy too recode but DO read instructions first! Again, you don’t want to void warranty for not following instructions. Lastly, I love love love that you can enter code in & out of order it doesn’t matter it locks in place & order doesn’t matter. It’s very safe, secure & friendly user. Do, do, do, get know which way to turn the knob or it won’t open! It only turns in one direction. Lastly, love love love the color exactly what I needed and wanted for our custom doors. & lock feature works from both sides of the door the exact same way! Love it! Absolutely love it! We purchased two!!! Loved it & so did our iron gate worker! He said he had never worked with such a smart & clever lock mechanism!! Loved it!

This is a heavy duty lock. I really like the mechanical function and the key pad on both sides. Yes, it will be tedious to change the passcode, since you must take it apart to do so, but I don't know why anyone would need to do that too often, and it really isn't that difficult. The directions were fairly clear and the only reason I struggled during installation is because I had to drill all of my own holes in the DIY gate I installed it in. BUT, that was OK because they were so responsive to my messages for help and even replaced (expeditiously!) a part that I broke during my install attempts. I am really looking forward to using my new pedestrian gate instead of the driveway gate now!! Thanks so much for this awesome product! I will probably repurchase when I upgrade our other pedestrian gate in the future!

Purchased this lock for my exterior pedestrian gate and unfortunately it just stopped working after two months. It doesn’t get used too often as it’s mainly for deliveries and the yard company for landscaping. Unfortunately, it gets stuck in the open position and therefore can’t latch closed for security. Currently, I’ve had to zip tie the gate closed until I find a better lock that is more durable and dependable. Very disappointing considering the price.

It looks nice and works pretty well. I'd say there is only a couple of issues though. Sometimes you have to press the buttons pretty hard for them to go in. Also, one problem with the side that has the screw heads, is exactly that - the screw heads. No need to know the code if you can simply remove the whole lock with a standard Philips screwdriver. My solution was to cover the screws with spackling and paint to make them as invisible as possible. But this is not a secure solution of course so I don't feel that this lock is as secure as it should be from one side. In many cases that may not be a concern but for us it is. There is a reason we opted for a lock that require a code on both sides.

Great product, we have autistic child who is an elopement risk. We use these in all our outside doors. What is great about these are they are mechanical. So while he can guess the code, if we just click random key it will not work.

I don't know much about how locks work, so getting it to turn right was giving me fits. It worked just fine assembled on my counter, but as soon as we put it in the door, one side worked and the other didn't.There was a phone number in the paperwork. I held my breath, figuring there was a long wait and a hassle ahead. BOY WAS I WRONG!FANTASTIC customer service!!I not only reached a real person, he knew exactly what my trouble must be just from the description. He walked me right through it over the phone. He even called back to check up and make sure the 2nd installation went off without a hitch.The locks are absolutely perfect for keeping my mother (Alzheimer's) safe. They work beautifully once you get used to them. Installation was mostly easy, and when I got stuck, the top-notch customer service couldn't be beaten.Excellent find!

First off, it is a sturdy lock and it looks and works just like the description. The combination can be however short or long you want.The negative is that it is VERY hard to turn the knob. We installed this in our courtyard gate and I’m not sure I’m going to be able to leave it because my kids can not turn the knob.I would say this would be better on a door that’s not used often.

This replaced a similar lock (different manufacturer) that failed after over a decade in Florida heat and humidity. Time will tell if this outlasts my old one, but it seems very solid. It's installed in a metal gate that had already been adapted for this type of lock, so installation took just a few minutes.During installation, I ran into a problem and contacted the seller's support number via text. Their service hours are Monday through Friday, but someone responded on a Saturday! The problem was due to my own carelessness, which I figured out right after I sent the text, but the support tech was friendly and responsive. Based on the other reviews and my own experience, the remarkably responsive and helpful level of service available makes this company stand out.
