I am neutral on the scent as it just has a very light raw smell. Not unpleasant however. This has changed the texture of my skin and has increased the moisture tenfold! It's the best moisturizer I have ever used since my skin has matured. My forehead and area around the mouth used to be so dry. Not anymore. I use it before bed and in the morning. It feels very thick but after about 15 minutes it is wonderfully absorbed. It leaves a shininess at first but once again the absorbstion takes care of that...AND it lasts forever. I also mix it into my homemade body lotion. Will use it as long as it works. I've since had compliments as to how my face looks. Also it doesn't seem to promote pimples or breakouts and is very helpful for patches of eczema which I've had my entire life. Less now. Much less. Update 10/17/20 This stuff gets better and better. My son has been struggling with acne. At first it seemed to cause more whiteheads but then started clearing the acne. It was almost as if it performed a slight detox before working really well. It's still the only moisturizer I use on my face.

This butter is delightful to use. The aroma is pleasant and mild. It’s really soft AND softening on my skin. The high quality of this butter is consistent from the top of the full jar to the edges of a nearly empty jar. I have purchased it 3 times and will purchase multiple jars if/when it becomes available, again. Thank you, Sky Organics for this great shea butter!

When first opening this Shea butter did an inspection considering one-star reviews to ensure receipt of an organic product. And, not rancid. My container notes on multiple places this IS organic. While also sharing places to check on this factually. Since I enjoy researching products find this helpful. My batch smells like shea butter. My skin appears happy to have tried the product. I'm 56 so it's to be expected my skin is beginning to show its lifetime experience. The only attribute I didn't expect is how solid this shea butter is. Because I couldn't get Nourish Organic Skin Softening Body Butter any longer have been searching for new possibilities. Recognizing all brands are different at least thought this would be easier to access. In regards to attempting to get a small teaspoon amount to spread on my hands and arms. Instead, the butter is hard. Like coconut oil would be in winter. Ya know, it'll liquefy in summer and go back to a solid in winter. At least mine does. The fall temperature is in the ’70s and this stuff is the consistency of winterized coconut oil. This said I'm wondering if the consistency will change over time? I was able to, just like with coconut oil, get a little out to try. Like the results on my hands at my forearm. Minus a star for the very solid shea butter. This said, do like the results. Plus, this container size will last quite a while. Considering winter is around the corner am happy to have this to help stay moisturized during winter months. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

About 11-12 weeks into my pregnancy, my husband bought this for me, after a b-ch session I had with myself and the wall about my fear of stretch marks. (I already have them from my Division I sports playing, Hulk days). When it came, I was nervous because I was at the tail end of my morning sickness, EVERY new and strange smell made me sick as heck, and I read about some people not liking the smell. I was so scared of the smell ruining this for me. BUT when I opened it, the smell was a mild nutty earthy smell. I'd never smelled anything like it, and my finicky bubble guts was ok, so I slathered it on my belly and cans, and then put a cocoa butter and other smelly friends lotion over it. After the 3rd day of putting this on morning and before bed, the smell just went away to me, and I actually started really liking it by the end of the week! I am ALMOST to the preggo finish line, and while I know that stretch marks are genetic, this wonderful stuff REALLY packs on and in the moisture, and helps me to feel like Im doing everything that I can to stave off and hopefully prevent (fingers crossed) stretch marks. I use the flat side of my nail to roll it off, as it's a paste consistency, and then 5 seconds between my palms melts it down to be rubbed on. Using this liberally twice a day for the last 23-24 weeks, I will buy another jar when it's empty. Ive got about 1/4 jar left, and will be using it regularly after pregnancy. I LOVE this stuff!!!

Je cherchais un vrai beurre de karité non raffiné . Je voulais que la texture soit authentique et que l’odeur y soit aussi. Celui là est parfait. Pour en avoir tester pas mal je peux vraiment dire qu’il est top!! Certes il y a une odeur un peu, mais c’est justement à cela qu’on voit la qualité du produit ! Je recommande vivement

Soft and smooth skin after use and makes skin oily

Unsure why many reviews complain about the texture of the butter, it says in the instructions to warm it with your hands before applying, which once warmed it behaves more like body lotion which is easy to spread. Has a nice natural colour you’d normally see in pure Shea butter, unlike other brands. Also has a good natural nutty odour, unlike other brands, which have a chemical odour. I find if you mix the entire tub maybe once every week or so with something like a chopstick or spoon, and keep it at room temperature, the butter tends to stay smooth and silky, which makes it much easier to use
