Easy to install and it works perfeclty!
This units are perfect for my solar system. I'm running a 400W solar system and it works perfectly. I got 2 units, one for checking how many watts are coming in and the other to check my battery input and output. My only advise to you is to add the battery backup option, which is not cable include with it. It only works from 8v-60v, on the 3 pins on the side of the unit. I use two 11650 batteries and for connecting the battery use first cable as a ground and the second as positive from top to bottom, the white cable is not connected to anything, don't use the third pin, not sure what it but it didn't work for me.

Works very nice
This watt meter works great with my solar charger for my ebike battery. I placed it after my MPPT boost charger and before the battery. Gives me everything I need to know

Works perfectly fine for my application
I use this meter for a solar battery station. I cut off the original leads and soldered 50a Anderson connectors. The meter reads perfectly and is accurate as compared with a battery lead meter. At 20-30 amps, the unit runs Icey cold. and the wires run warm I would not run 150a through this. The original wires are labeled 12 awg, but more like 13 awg. 12 awg is rate for 30a and since the leads are small I would go as high as 40a. Even at 30a, the wires get a warm (not hot). I knew what this was capable of going in, so I am not knocking the rating. At $11 this is a bargain as long as you ignore the product page ratings and just go by what the wires can handle. I also opened up the meter just to double check the solder points and my unit was soldered well. I would suggest just checking to see if the solder points for the wire pass the eye test.

Excellent watt meter - easy to use
I added a set of powerpole connectors to both ends of this meter and it is super-easy to insert it into a circuit to see the power consumption of my radios and other devices in the circuit. The display is easy to read and the display shows current (Amps), supply voltage (Volts), and power (Watts). The 4th data spot in the display cycles through Amp-hours (Ah) since meter startup, Watt-hours (Wh) since meter startup, peak amps (Ap) since meter startup, minimum voltage (Vm) since meter startup, and peak watts (Wp) since meter startup. All in all, this is a great meter and it has already been very handy and helpful for me in my home workshop. Great value for its price. This is a keeper. Recommended!

Darn thing works
I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and it was DOA. Sent it back and Amazon gave me a refund. It would not light up or even give the source voltage. I bought the exact same meter and it works perfectly. Voltage is exactly what my voltmeter reads and depending on what power level I need it reads the wattage perfectly. There is always the possibility of getting a dud in anything. Glad I gave this device a second chance.

works better than expected
I use this to keep track of my battery voltage and amp hours used when operating my Amateur radio equipment in the field. One thing to keep in mind is that when you disconnect it from the power source it will not retain a memory. Good thing is it has a three prong auxiliary socket to add a power source to retain memory, although I have no need for that. Works great several people in my Ham club bought this. That says something for its accuracy.

Odd things about it.
This is the 300A I am reviewing. The package was crushed the amperage on the docs say 200 and someone overwrote the 2 with a 3 with a sharpie making it 300 (see photo). Needless to say I’m a little worried about using it. The lens is really scratched makes me think it was used. But the ends don’t appear to have ever been soldered to anything so idk for sure. I have one of these also a 200 amp came from here and it looks really good along with a plastic peel back film over the lens and it’s not scratched this one did not have it. It may work but I’ll just stick to the 200 amp for now.

Very useful tool.
Works as described. Using it to measure pwr and current in RC electric motor system. Very useful to ensure the motor/battery/ESC combination doesn't exceed specification.
