LEGO Scooby-Doo 75904 Mystery Mansion Building Kit

This is a big, well-detailed set with many mini-figures and play features. Glow-in-the dark ghost, vampire in coffin, monster plant with moveable jaws big enough to hold a minifigures, hidden key, "locked" safe, booby trap, magnifying glass that really magnifies, and so much more. We enjoyed building it with our children ages four and six. Our six-yr-old could have built it independently over a day or two. Our four-yr-old did well helping build booklets one and two since those had smaller builds and more mini-figures for him to play along the way. They play with it, build and rebuild parts of it, and make up all sorts of play scenarios. It was expensive but worth it to watch their imaginations go wild. When they aren't playing and rebuilding, it is an awesome, unique Halloween decoration. Go ahead! Order this and build it in time to enjoy. We plan to pack it away in November and bring it out every October for a new family tradition.

Quality pieces, Clear instructions, and I like the detail of specific items when they come together, like the broken windows, the plant, the hidden treasure. I put this together with my 3 year old twins, and the amount of time they are quietly behaving and playing with it justifies the cost. It took about an hour per bag, and it was 9 bags! Plus the online videos and games on lego.com, and the ability to tie it in with the DVD! It's been able to provide countless hours of entertainment, and I plan on disassembling it, keeping it as a halloween decoration until they are old enough, and doing the same next year. I think next year at 4 they could spend even more time on each bag as I have them search for the specific pieces.

Awesome Lego set, with some great minifigures (Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, Velma, Daphne, Vampire, Black Knight Ghost) Reminiscent of the Monsters Legos of years past. Nice sized set, took a couple hours to build. Nothing too difficult for young builders. As I collector I just build and display these for a while before reselling and getting different sets, so I'm not concerned about playability, but I imagine kids would have a great time with this set as it has a lot of fun surprises and functions. Lego is doing amazing work with all of their sets, but it is the awesome licensed sets that keep me coming back for more!

My grandson had been begging for this so I bought it for a Christmas present. He is obsessed with Scooby Doo Lego play sets. He loves it. It did take us hours to build but was a great way to pass some time together. At 4 I understand there will come a day when he is not going to want to sit with Gran but as long as there are wonderful play sets to build I suspect we will be able to enjoy our time awhile longer. It is the coolest play set and easy to build as long as you follow instructions.

One of the best Lego sets my son and I have ever built. If you are a fan of Scooby Doo and Lego's this is a must buy. I know it's expensive (around $75) but it's both fun to build AND fun to play with. You get a lot for your money with this set - including Scooby, Shaggy, VELMA, DAPHNE, and 3 villians. The Dracula motif is quite cool and there are more little nuances to the set (working wrecking ball, hidden coffin, etc) than I can list. Do yourself a favor and get this today

This set was mising 2 blocks, a dark gray 1x3 and a purple wedge 1x2. There were extra blocks like the round sile peg blocks. It was a fun build, but for the price missing blocks are disapointing.

This is a great set. It includes Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, a ghost, a knight, and a vampire mini-figures. It's the only set with Daphne in it. There are active features on each building. On one, the roof opens, on another, the clock tower spins, etc. It comes with a book for each building, and it takes 2-3 hours to build, so be prepared to help your kid. But it's a fun build for sure. Get your kid a Mystery Machine set to get Fred in on the action, and he/she will have everything to get the mystery solved!
