Allstar Performance ALL14153 Black 2" x 180' Racer's Tape

We bought this actually for our garage. In Phoenix in the summer, it got so hot the paint would start to melt on the garage casing and stick to the garage door so it wouldn't open. My husband used to use this tape on cars, but thought of covering the portion of the garage where the door touches. Since then we've had no issues with the sticking anymore even after 2 hot summers.

Best duct/racer tape around. It’s still actually 2” wide unlike other brands. To the other brands, we the people notice these things.

Good deal and easy to use. Been on the camper the entire summer and, although it is not as good as a decal or paint, it does do the job nicely.

Used this to patch up a part of my car's bumper that got ripped in an unfortunate accident. Long story short, it blends in well with my black car. I have also used this to fix plastic toys for my daughter who doesn't care there is black tape on it.

This is duct tape. It left glue residue all over the car and pieces of the tape. I went to the track and the blue painting tape was much better than the areas where I put this tape. I had to rub very hard to get the glue off and wax my car again.

I had ordered this tape before, and it came as matte black, and I believe the photo shows it with a matte finish, like gaffers tape. I liked that tape because it didn't make my wires sticky. The tape I got this time was glossy black and was more like Gorilla Tape, and it made my hands and wires sticky. Now I have to use Goo Gone and clean my wires and wash my hands after using it. Boo.

Simply the best tape out there. I put this stuff on everything. I have tried Gaffer Power and the other big brand which I don’t recall the name of, this tape tears easier and cleaner, sticks better, and removes cleaner than either of those, by far. Unless it is regularly exposed to heat and moisture (ie, items which you handle regularly) it will not gunk up even over a prolonged period of time. Conversely if it dries out (over an even longer period of many months) it becomes hard to remove, similar to duct tape. If you see this for under $25, buy it without hesitation! The amount you get is generous as well.
