This mount works great. The mount itself is heavy and sturdy, but the headrest brackets clamp down firmly, so it'll probably last at least a year of continual commercial use (and probably beyond). I use this mount for rideshare driving so my customers can choose their own background music off my 4th Gen iPod Touch. I've found that it's best to separate the audio for my Bluetooth headset connected phone so I can silently take personal calls and listen to GPS navigation while all the customer hears is their audio selection over the car speakers. Oftentimes, customers want to connect their cell phones via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable to the car speaker system, choose music off my mp3 player, listen to the radio, or go silent altogether, and this mount helps facilitate that wider range of choice. It also comes with four USB charging ports (3 USB A and one USB C), so that puts the possible USB ports available to customers in my car to about 6-10. Takes a few responsibilities off me as I drive. The mount itself can be set to float in between the front two seats, freeing up valuable real estate on the center console and the backs of the front seats. Coupled with a Cargo vending box, free water in insulated backseat organizers, and a trash bag, and my car is transformed into a taxi service / mobile jukebox / vending machine / mini-fridge / charging station / VIP lounge / trash service. Heck, if this really takes off, maybe I'll pull the coup de grâce, destroy my customers' brains, and spring the extra money for some heated massage seat cushions. Not sure if I'm going to go the extra mile and have advertisements painted on my car exterior, but at that point, why the hell not? Pretty much a synergistic license to print money. Capitalism at its finest. So far, it all works together in contributing to an all around next level professional party bus rideshare atmosphere with maximum convenience and choice hailed as the prevailing themes. Or at least, that's my take on what America is all about. So, do yourself a favor, make the American choice, and buy this mount. Because AWESOMENESS = MONEY = AMERICA.

I've been through like 20 different mount systems for phones, tablets, etc for cars. Everything I've tried so far has been garbage, and falls apart very easily. This wasn't the case (yet) for this mount. The mounts themselves feel sturdy so far ( they are plastic so I'm a little worried over time/heat if they will hold up. ) The attached very easily to the front headrest. The tablet mount itself, is again, plastic with pads for the device, but it help the tablet in there perfectly. Hit some large bumps, and nothing fell. I'm a little worried about the ball joint nut. Previous mounts I've had, this was the weak point. So far it's been sturdy though. The arm seems to be metal ( aluminum? ) so I'm not too worried about it failing or sagging too much over time. The arm extends to a good distance. No problem there. The test of time will tell how great the product is for me, but first use was great. It served it's purpose, wasn't clunky, and was easy to install and use. I would definitely buy again so far.

I ordered this rear headrest mount to replace a competitors that broke the second I tried to attach it. The fact that it is slide adjustable to fit mostly any headrest is great. The thumbscrew functions to attach the unit to the vertical headrest bars assure that it will be as secure as you let it, which is good if you have different people adjusting it. The unit holds the tablet ( it will also hold a phone ) pretty sturdy. The best feature is that it can accommodate a device that pretty much has any case on it (something that the competitors product required the case be removed as it was designed with the actual unit dimensions) It has a directly behind the seat attachment as well as an extendable attachment to have it move to the center of the backseats for multiple passengers (Although the extension will allow it to wobble a bit, but thankfully not very much.) The ball joint adjustment helps to avoid any glare or light issues which is huge ( virtually any angle, vertical or horizontal.). I’ve used it on multiple road trips since purchased and my son, who is 9, operates it with his tablet with ease. Would have given 5 stars but I would like the extendable bar a little bit stronger to minimize the slight sag and wobble, but overall, it is one multifunctional, good unit to have in the car. I will most likely purchase a second unit for my wife’s car.

We got this for the long road trips I take back and forth from AZ to NM and Mexico. It's a good way to keep the device off the floor and at eye level. It connects easily to the bars of the headrest and it's adjustable, but only a little. Regardless it works just fine and I recommend it. Once you no longer need it, it can be stored away and takes up very little room. 5 stars.

We bought this to hold an ipad in the back seat of the car for my kids to watch. Initially it installs pretty easily but over time it seems like the clamps that hold onto the headrest start to get a little bit weaker so it does eventually start to lean down a little bit. You can snug up the clamps but it seems like the plastic on the clamps actually starts to soften so it does become a little bit unstable over time. If you were using this every once in a while for long road trips I think it would be fine, but for continued every day use I think you'll notice that it becomes less stable over time

Fits perfectly on my car's head rest poles. It's stable on most roads (doesn't bounce/shake much), easy to adjust and grips well to my phone/tablet. The build quality is also pretty good for its price point. Worth the consideration for whatever reason you have for wanting to entertain your passengers.

Fatto un viaggio di 10 ore...per intrattenere le mie figlie ci ho messo il tablet....davvero robusto....non si è mai mosso da come l'ho posizionato nonostante le oscillazioni della macchina. Davvero buono....preso tra tanti grazie alle recensioni....grazie mille e prendetelo tranquillamente perché ne vale la pena!!!! Ottimo prodotto e funzionale
