I am actually going to start with the one Con: they have little covers on the tips that come off easily. As soon as they were installed, the toddler had them off trying to up them in her mouth. Not even sure why there are needed. Maybe to soften the door hitting a wall. Now, the Pros: they were easy to install, they worked like a charm, my toddler (2 y.o.) has not defeated them yet, I can set the bottom lever so she can't pull down on door handles, but we can easily pull them up to open still. My house is filled with these door levers. These were a game-changer in keeping the toddler out of everything. I would buy again. Just remove the little tips.

Life savers. Was worried I wouldn’t find locks to work well with lever handles for my toddler, but these are great and I’ve ordered multiple times. Adhere easily/quickly and are easy to open for adults, sturdy against stubborn toddlers. They also aren’t a huge eye sore, which is helpful.

These latches are very easy to install and set up (note: there are slide pins on both arms that lock them in place). My only gripe is that the ratchet mechanism is a bit weak. My 3 y/o can move the pin locked arm with relative ease. These latches should be looked at as a temporary diversion, not a fool proof deterrent system.

These are awful. Do not buy. Here is a non-exhaustive list of why they suck.1. They break. My kids managed to break these.2. My 18 month old daughter was able to force the lock down and open the door.3. The locks have a plastic cap that have come off which are clearly a choking hazard for children. My robot vacuum had also gotten jammed with these things.These locks failed their primary purpose of keeping my child safe out of harms and added an additional safety hazard of choking on this cheap piece of garbage.

They are easy to install and the adhesive is good muy my two year old was able to break it on the second day.

I ordered this to keep my two cats out of certain rooms and it works great. It was easy to install, just peel and stick, and easy to use. I would NOT use these with small children. It is too easy for them to push the lower lever up and lock you in the room.

I LOVE this lock!! Although my son has been throwing tantrums since I installed it cause he can’t open the door, but I don’t mind... I know that he’s safe and can’t pull items from the pantry and have them land on his head. Highly recommend!!
