Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream

I was very pleased with this product. It provided much relief for the itching of my back from an illness. It also provides great moisturizing for, at minimum, two days. Highly recommended and used regularly.

Very good cream. Deeply moisturizing without being greasy. My dry skin has improved dramatically since I started using it. It goes a long way and is fragrance-free. Ideal for face and body. Highly recommended.

I LIVE IN THE WOODS AND ON THE RIVER. THE KNATS ARE TERRIBLE..WORSE THAN THE MOSQUITOES. I usually wear mosquito netting suit. But if I am just going out for a short time I don't. I bought this and used it when I counted 31 knat bites on my face and neck. I used this and it works great. If the bites start itching after first application I reapply and the itch disappears. This works so good I don't even care if I get bites. It may seem expensive but you only use a very small amount on the bites. I have bought many topical meds and this works great. Works on rashes, spider and black fly bites too

I love this product! I have always had underlying itchy skin with eczema as a child and teenager. Recently I had two bouts of hives within five months, each one lasting about four weeks, with the hives coming in waves and staying for 24 hours or more. It felt like skin torture and neither oral prednisone (a horrible drug for me, causing high anxiety) nor cortisone cream touched them. An allergist put me on two different types of over-the-counter antihistamines at double the recommended dosage and that, as well as daily meditation, seemed to began the gradual decrease in symptoms. My dermatologist recommended CeraVe Anti Itch Cream and while I had hives I used it from head to toe twice a day just to get enough relief to be able to work and sleep. Now that the hives are gone I still use it head to toe once a day after shower before bedtime. It seems to alleviate any residual generalized itchiness. I use the regular CeraVe Cream for face and hands several times during the day, keeping one tub on the kitchen counter and one tub at my desk. I prefer the cream to the lotion as it is thicker and feels more soothing. For me this product has provided much relief. Unfortunately this has gone up in price by 50% in the last two months. Yikes! Very expensive. I used to get it for $26, now it is almost $40.

no more CERA. itching back again

I am a nurse that takes care of a special needs toddler. She scratches the back of her neck, her arms,and sometimes even her legs. We had tried many creams and lotions with no effect. I bought this Cerave cream just to try, it is rich,smells good and rubs in easily . After several days I notice that she doesn't have any fresh scratch marks on her arms or neck and the old ones are fading. Applying after bath ever day has reduced her scratching herself by 90 %. A great product.

I've been dealing with a recurring rash for 20+ years. No two doctors agree what causes it... psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, dry skin, etc. I've tried every lotion, cream, foam, and steroid (oral) that I've been able to get my hands on. Nothing has ever helped except scratching the rash until it bleeds and then putting alcohol on it. The burning is better than the itching! HOWEVER, I recently ordered this CeraVe, and it is amazing! First use, and the itching had stopped before I finished rubbing the cream in. Relief lasted for several hours, and, as a bonus, it moisturizes, softens, and helps heal the open itchy bumps. So far, I really love this stuff. It's not expensive, it doesn't stink, it rubs almost completely in, and IT WORKS. Hallelujah!

I am not sure what is in this lotion to make it so great for sunburns, but if you burn easily and you are looking for a remedy, this is it! It takes the sting and burn out within hours, and it'll remove the redness by the next day. It also does it's advertised job of helping with itchy skin, but the sunburn remedy is by far the seller for me!
