Upgraded the mower headlights to amber LED waterproof lights and installed this flasher unit as safety lights for mowing the mile long strip of grass on the roadside fence line. Now all my neighbors want me to upgrade their mowers with flashing safety light modules too.UPDATE: DONT OVERLOAD THE FLASHER UNIT. I added 2 more lights (older style, multiple LEDs-side marker lights) to the rear of the mower and it was too much for the flasher unit and it stopped working. But the company sent a free replacement, no questions asked & lesson learned. The amperage draw difference between the COB LEDs & the older style resin LEDs is way more than I expected. And the resin LEDs are not as bright as the COB LEDs.But, I definitely bought a few more to do customers mowers because I like these strobe effects. Oh, and the resin LEDs don't strobe. Or it's not quick enough to notice it

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this flasher along with two "Beamtron" 4 in LED Lights also from Amazon. The lights flash great. I installed them on the front of my UTV. Unfortunately I have had two elderly drivers at separate time pull off the roadway thinking I was an oncoming emergency vehicle. They work great in the daylight but they flash so bright at night that I stopped using them after dark for fear of causing some some kind of incident. The flasher is very inexpensive compared to others I have seen. They have been working for over a month now and are still doing fine. Given the price it would not be an issue to replace the flasher if it fails. The only Issue I have is the wire size. It looks to be 22 or 24 gauge. The connection wires are so small they are difficult to install with crimp terminals. I soldered them to bayonet connectors and secured them with shrink wrap. They seem to be durable enough using this method.

Burned out after first few uses. To bad. It was easy to install and did the exact function I needed.

The media could not be loaded. Wanted an easy way to alternate some tail lights for a toy train crossing for my sons. This was the best option I could find and works well.Just know that it doesn’t just alternate, but also has a bit of a strobe effect which is hard to see in the videos and not in the product description. If you can live with that (or want that), this is perfect.

Great product! So far, I have six low-watt LEDs (0.5 watts each) on one module, with the plan to add four more. But the total watts is five, and this is rated for 48. Therefore, I have plenty of room to maneuver. I'm impressed! This is a great module!

This unit is pretty cool and it works as described. I ordered it with a set a couple sets of amber LED light strips and an on off switch to make a set of emergency flasher for a motorcycle and it works awesome. It works by rapidly switching the grounds on and off for the lights and for this reason you can not install it to an existing light system such as your turn signals, driving lights, etc, UNLESS you want those lights to always flash whenever power is given to them. You would have to connect the ground from the existing lights to this unit or that ground would over ride the function of this unit. With some ingenuity you could devise a system to switch between ground circuits. Essentially you would wind up with always having open circuit power to the lamps or wind up with two switches, one for power and one to switch between ground circuits. More than I cared for on a motorcycle. This is a unit that will allow you to install a set of stroboscopic auxiliary lamps to a vehicle and in that capacity it works flawlessly.

BEFORE YOU BUY - Be advised: This strobe flasher works great AS LONG AS you don't use it on any existing automotive lighting. Since it switches the grounds and not the hots, you will NOT get strobe flashing to any lights connected to the vehicle ground. This flasher PASSES the hot and SWITCHES the grounds! OEM lights SWITCH the hots and the ground are steady. After talking for some time with customer service, he admitted the flasher is good for ADD ON LIGHTING!
