Kwikset Katara Entry Lever featuring SmartKey® in Satin Nickel

Good solid quality. Smartkey worked easily. This was an upgrade from an older Smartkey set that was shown to be vulnerable to being easily opened with a cheap tool on YouTube (search Kwikset Smartkey). This set is supposed have a different design that improves security, though Kwikset does not mention it - do some research on the web.

Beauty. Easy to install, replaced all the doors with this series and what a statement these make. Old Weslocks were much lighter, nice to be able to switch from LH to RH in a matter of minutes. The smartkey system is cool, rekeyed all 7 entry locks in less than 5 minutes (without a locksmith or more $$$). The deadbolt is a lot heavier than the previous one. All in all a great system.

Product was used as I was aware when ordering however the style was not as described and was missing smart key, keys and other parts.Returned it to Amazon

I installed this as a replacement for one that I had previously installed but had to have drilled out after I locked myself out. This is a really nice design, very heavy metal, and seemingly well made. It operates very smoothly.

Good quality Smartkey, works well, since I have replaced the same kind of lock.

Added a locking latch to match my home's existing set. Great Kwikset quality with thorough instructions.
