Visaton FRS7-8 2.5" Full-Range Speaker 8 Ohm

I'm extremely satisfied with the sound quality. This replacement worked perfectly for my Logitech Z-2300 speakers. If you're considering doing the same, don't hesitate—it's the best option for this type of subwoofer. Plus, if you have another audio system that requires speakers of the same size, this is an excellent choice. The value for money is simply unbeatable.

Using these as external speakers on a Christmas prop . The Christmas prop had a built in, tinny, 1 inch diamter speaker that did not have decent sound nor volume. Bought this and wired in in place of the original - now I have nice sound quality and great (louder) volume

If you are a ham operator and have the FT-710 AESS, you know how disappointing the sound quality you get with the standard speaker in the SP-40 side-mount speaker. I found the cheezy little speaker to be so harsh and tinny. Hot tip - get this speaker, disassemble the SP-40, Flip the metal mounting bracket around, screw this speaker onto the bracket. Put the bracket and the speaker back in, pack the cavity with fiberglass and voilá! The sould is so much richer.

My Logitech Z-2300s system had been working for 16 years before the satellite units started to crack. The sub still works perfectly and I did not want to part ways with the sub 120W of rattling power. I tried repairing the satellites, but that would not last. I measured their size and got the specs to get replacements that could work as closely as the original speakers. I selected the Visaton FRS7-8 2.5" 8 Ohm Full-Range Speaker, since they closely matched the mounting holes and fit inside the satellite enclosure. The Visaton FRS7-8 2.5" 8 Ohm Full-Range Speaker have very good audio quality, specially when compared to the outstanding quality of the units they were replacing. I got two units and they have the same level and tone in each range and they responded equally to the same frequencies. I ran some test from 20000Hz all the way down to 10Hz. I could clearly hear the frequency range of 17000Hz to 18Hz. There was some rattle and also humming when playing content with deep bass at high levels (above 70% volume). The humming was present even when no playing any audio or sound...it was a faint humming though. During a gaming session or voice I could not see the a difference between the Visaton FRS7-8 and the originals speakers. I could tell a difference when listening to music though. The Visaton FRS7-8 is a full range speaker with balanced frequency response and good highs. They are suitable as built-in speaker for a diy unit, monitoring speakers or a replacement for old not working units.

I used this speaker to.replace the factory speaker in my Yaesu FT-710 external speaker box. Sounds fuller.

I used this speaker for a home project requiring it to play simple ring tones at various volumes. So I'm not expecting high fidelity here. I had looked at various alternatives for small, low cost speakers, but found them remiss in various ways - too cheap, difficult to mount, low output. But this Visaton speaker checks all the right boxes. I get good volume output, even with low input power. It's easy to mount, and looks well built. Best of all, a companion speaker grill is available (see Visaton Grill for FRS7 Series) which adds a nice cosmetic touch to the final product.

I used this as a replacement for our center dash speaker in our 2006 Toyota Sienna. I think the factory speaker was 2ohm, so this 8ohm version helped reduce the power to it from the factory JBL Symphony amp, which was the goal since the factory speaker was too bright and overpowered the rest of the speakers, especially at high volume. I put 2.75" replacement speakers in the corners that are 4ohm and the balance across all 3 speakers is much better and much less bright across the front, too.

Easy to install on my old Logitech desktop speakers. They worked well with my subwoofer. My first test sound was Eruption from Van Halen and it hit it out of the park !!!

Hallo, ich habe den Breitbandlautsprecher als Mittelton Ersatz in meiner JBL SAT 75 Heimkinoanlage eingebaut. Bei meinem Center Speaker hat sich der Schaumstoff-Ring der Membrane verabschiedet. Der Originale war 70 mm groß der neue 66,5 mm und passt aber sehr gut in den Speaker rein. Auch die Schraubenlöcher sind zu 100 % identisch. Da die Kabel einen Stecker haben musste ich nicht einmal löten. Die Kontakte lassen sich leicht verbiegen damit die Stecker besser reinpassen. Die Einbautiefe ist wesentlich geringer als bei dem alten Mitteltöner. Alles in allem für das kleine Geld meinen Center gerettet, der Klang ist sogar besser als das Original.

Bei mir war alles in Ordnung. Bin sehr zufrieden. finde es schade das man von Amazon gezwungen wird eine Mindestanzahl von Wörtern zu schreiben..

Ich dachte wirklich das der Klang dieses Lautsprechers gut sein wird aber am Ende ist das einfach nur ein billiger China Lautsprecher investiert lieber in etwas teureres habt ihr mehr von
