As I Am Coconut Cowash, 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I have been using this co-wash for a few years now. I love it. It has a coconut smell and makes my hair so feel so soft. It works well for my hair and makes it shiny. This is a product that is approved for Curly Girl and has better ingredients It has been the best co-wash that I have found and is great value for what I am receiving.

I have fine, curly hair. I try to wash my hair a maximum of twice a week, and this product is a big part of what makes that doable. It really does clean hair and scalp and refresh my curls. It has a neutral coconut scent that does NOT trigger a migraine for me, and I think this might actually be the only cowash I've tried that wasn't weirdly heavily scented. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, fluffy and with slightly defined curls. I cannot imagine a world where I don't have this in my bathroom.

My hair has been a source of frustration all my life. I thought it was just frizzy, sort of curly, and a nuisance. I got this product with low expectation, just expecting another flop really. But not only did this stuff give me full curls I didnt even know were there (should have with the family photos lol,) but it has made my hair soft, manageable and easy to detangle. Plus it smells amazing. All i do is scrunch and air dry. I now look forward to washing my hair. Please keep making this product and please keep the price as I will continue to buy for as long as it's available as is and i'm sure many others will as well.

This is one of the best cleansing conditioners I’ve used. It removes buildup without stripping natural oils, leaving my hair soft, moisturized, and tangle-free. The coconut scent is light and pleasant, not overpowering. It has great slip for detangling and rinses out cleanly without residue. Perfect for curly, coily, or textured hair between shampoo days, keeping it hydrated and manageable.

Co-wash can be tricky. How it is applied has so much to do with its effectiveness. When this one is used correctly it is amazing. Soft. Curls/wave is automatic and is pronounced if I follow my curly days routine that I sometimes use. Here is how I have the best results with this.. - Thoroughly wet hair., I mean go under the water multiple times - I find some of my hair is more porous than other parts. Making sure I lift up my hair and gently move it around to assure the water is fully saturating everywhere- this is everything. - Be generous with the amount used. This makes a big difference too. Somehow, it doesn’t seem to get used up super quickly even though I don’t skimp on the quantity I use each wash. - really, really, really rub your scalp with your finger pads or a scalp scrubber. Be gentle, though be efficient and do it a LOT. When doing this it is not necessary to over agitate any length that you have. Splash more water on, it helps work in and spread the product - do this through the time you are working it in. - Go on, massage that scalp some more. - then sort of squeeze the co-wash through your length, grab a bit more from the jar if you need, not much more seems necessary for me and my hair goes well below my shoulders. - Rinse. Go back ad do what you did when applying the co-wash. Massage, massage. NOTE: starting with my head up than flipping my head over ;when applying and rinsing) and moving it around a lot under the water is super helpful.

Best CoWash so far. I recently have done the big shop bc of damaged hair. So i picked out a couple of co -washes to start my journey. Ive tried out two other co washes before this one and they were alright they weren't that special. But the day I went in the shower and decided to use this cowash it really changed what i thought a cowash was, if that makes sense. Lets starts with the smell, the smell is so wonderful not over powering at all but your hair will smell like it very little once you rinse it out .That's good because if you do hate the smell you wont really smell it for the rest of the day lol. The only con about this co wash is the twist off cap I hate that i wish it could come in a pump or squeezable bottle. The consistency is a little on the thick side but not like a cream. It really cleanse you scalp but also does keep the good moisture in. That is key for curly hair. No one wants dry curls.

This is a wonderful cleansing conditioner to use for dry scalp, eczema and dry hair. I've been using it on both myself and my 2 year old because his scalp flakes from the eczema, no matter how much I try to keep it hydrated. Thankfully after a week of using this every night (I was our hair every night) the dryness on my sons scalp has cleared up and my own hair stopped falling out in clumps (normal shampoo makes my hair fall out). Our hair is super soft and not weighed down at all, plus I shampoo both our hair once every 2 weeks with a regular shampoo and use this as the conditioner. The scent is not heavy, you can hardly tell there is even a scent to it. This does not lather, it is more like a thin conditioner. Thankfully this one doesn't 'tingle' like Hair One does (the tingle is actually cold in winter). My hair is naturally curly, so this really helps to bring out the curls in my hair. I have thin hair but lots of it, so it appears thick. No build up, no greasy feeling and both my son & I always have that "day after" look to our hair which is great IMO. A jar will last both myself and my son a whole month. I can't get this locally so Amazon is my go to. I'd recommend. It does take a while for your hair to get used to the moisture in a conditioning cleanser vs a shampoo/conditioner that strips then conditions. My hair was oily for a couple weeks when I first started co washing and now it is starting to balance out and not oily at all, instead my hair is soft, shiny and curly.

My hair has never felt better! Haven't put shampoo in my hair in over 6 months, and I never imagined myself saying something like that.
