This cotton is very soft, I used it to make a rug and it came out perfect! I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to cut. 40 yards is definitely enough!

The cotton cord is really nice. Soft and fluffy.However, the cord is a full 3” around not 1”. So it didn’t work for my project.

This cording is HUGE and very fun for dramatic trim, ruching and unusual craft projects. Overall, the price per yard is a fraction of retail, and the cord arrived very quickly,

This was way too big to do baskets with. I wish I would have returned it. I'm sure it would be great for something else but not what I needed it for.

I am giving this four stars because it is well made and of good quality. It was way too big for what I purchased it for, but I chose not to return it because of the cost of the return shipping. I am sure that someday I will come up with a project which will use it. To give you and idea of the size, Imagine a cube 1" x 1", then just round off the corners. That is the size of this piping.

I am using the product to make a rug. So far so good!
