Aircast Pneumatic Armband: Tennis/Golfers Elbow Support Strap, Black

This armband is very comfortable and really helps a lot with tennis elbow. I get shooting pains when I lift a couple pounds with one hand. This band eases the pain and over time the pain goes away. It is only a bit bulky where the air pillow is but it doesnt really cause issues. For me its like a miracle cure.

Bought several of this in different brand, this one is the best to absorb the elaboration very helpful with tennis elbow

Excellent Armband

I suffer from tendinitis in my elbow and forearm, and I had previously discovered when I first got tendinitis in my wrists that neither OTC or prescription strength ibuprofen even touched the pain. The only thing that worked for my wrists was to brace them and let them rest, so when I started experiencing tendinitis in my elbow, my first thought was how do I rest my elbow without giving up use oft whole arm. Then I came across this little armband and within the first day, I started to feel some relief, and the symptoms completely subsided within a week. It was amazing! I cannot, however give this armband all the credit...a couple years ago I started using a lot if homeopathic remedies and herbs instead of the chemicals with all kinds of horrible side effects doctors want to feed us, and I happened upon arnica in a local health food store. They market it mostly for sports injuries, but it's purpose is to relieve pain in the joints, muscles, and surrounding tissue, and to reduce swelling, so I started taking it for my tendinitis whenever I first start to feel it flair up. My flair ups used to last weeks and sometimes be almost completely incapacitating because of the excruciating pain caused by things as simple as picking up a fork to eat. Now they last a day or two and cause only mild discomfort, and I'm down to three or four a year.

Bought this for my 13 yo daughter for basketball. Eased her pain she was able to play with this support.

It seemed to be helping my tennis elbow but broke after two weeks. Was out of the country infill yesterday and am unable to return it.

What a disappointment! Here I am in Physical therapy for a golfer's elbow and I don't play golf. My injury is from knitting. It is very painful. My therapist recommended this air cast. Unfortunately, when I took it in so she could show me how to use it correctly. she commented, " Oh! There is no pocket!" The pocket that holds the plastic bubble is not built in to this arm band. This makes it hard to keep on and rather uncomfortable to keep readjusting. It does relieve the pain when I can manage to keep it on. The plastic against the skin does not feel good either, especially in hot weather. It is unfortunate that what was apparently a good product that even therapists recommend has been modified and does not perform as expected.

SPORT

I used such support for many years and it was perfect. Now I decided to buy the same new Aircast elbow support. But it only looked the same on the picture. In reality the design changed somewhat to the worth and mainly the quality of the materials used dropped dramatically. In short - it broke down during the very first use, in fact during the first 20 minutes!!! And this is at 28 EUR price tag!!! No return allowed, no warranty. My old one still works after more than 10 years, but the new support has clearly deteriorated in quality to a junk level.
