This grill works as well as advertised. I just received it on Aug 29th and I've used it twice; once for grilled cheese sandwiches and once for grilled salmon last night.It produced evenly browned grilled cheese sandwiches on the optional griddle top and melted all the cheese slices without burning the bread.Last night's salmon on the included grill top turned out great! 8 minutes on both sides at 350 degrees made a perfect one pound salmon filet.Clean-up is a breeze. You can wash the glass top, grill and griddle tops, drip pan, and water tray in the dishwasher. Make sure you use only wooden or plastic utensils so as not to scratch the grilling surfaces.

Works great. Only suggestion I have is, it calls for 2 cups of water. I use 1 and a 1/2 cups. I kept spilling the 2 cups when I had to empty it. Works just as good. It cleans up nice. The fan part is hard to clean. I use Q tips to clean works ok. I wish there was a better solution for cleaning the fan as the grease mounts up if you don't make the effort.

We live in a condo that does NOT allow grilling indoors or out. The Power XL smokeless grill was recommended by a neighbor. The grill is great. It gives you 2 grilling surfaces. One for grilling and one as a skillet for pancakes, eggs, grill cheese, etc. Each and every time the food grills perfectly without any smoke. Love it

I wasn’t sure first time I used it. I thought I would send it back. It cooked uneven , took too long, was definitely not like an outdoor grill. But then when we ate the chicken it was delicious, moist and I decided to give it another try. Well first of all I didn’t realize that the lid had to be on the whole time?? So no wonder the first one cooked uneven and took sooo long. Well the next time I watched videos and the burger were delicious and it was convenient to have the grill on the counter. We tried pork chops. Delicious. So I’m keeping it.The one thing is I did see a newer version than mine that had a pull out drawer where the water goes and that would be good because on mine you have to take it completely apart to add the water that keeps it from smoking. Also the newer version had a holder that could hold the lid up on the side when you need to open it and that would be better too. Mine doesn’t have that so I have to lay the lid on the counter every time I want to check it turn what I’m cooking.

It is wonderful. I cook steak, pork belly and eggs on it. So simple ! I put it all the way up and the food cooks perfect.

Did not arrive with the griddle plate. The griddle plate is included in the Amazon ad, both pictorially and in the description. We called the PowerXL company and was greeted with rude and misinformed advice. How do they stay in business?This is a recurring problem according to the Amazon ratings. Do not buy unless you like being ripped-off.

I love that I can make 6 regular size pancakes on this thing, 6 filet mignons, 4 decent sized top sirloins--plenty of cooking surface without a ton of wasted space.Even though I am usually cooking only for myself, it is convenient enough to pull out and use anytime, and the clean up is worth it for the results I get. I even use it when I'm only craving grilled vegetables, and it does an excellent job on those, too.Much less hassle than dealing with the bbq, with comparable results.

Great product, BUT , it was missing the griddle plate. This was a Christmas present - so I just found out now, A month later.
