Purchased these shelves because the color looked like it would come close to matching the kitchen cabinets. I was pleasantly surprised, when I opened the box. They look and feel like solid wood. Nice wood grain and the color matched the cabinets almost perfectly! They were very easy to install and now that they are up, they are sturdy enough to put heavy containers on. There is no movement like some others we have purchased in the past. Would definitely recommend these!

Have had for over a year now and these are really beautiful, thick floating shelves! The wall anchors provided aren't sufficient for holding more than 5 pounds; I took the anchors (and a screw) to my local hardware store and asked for something more sturdy. The installation was a serious pain (90+ minutes) for a casual like me with marking and leveling. With updated anchors, each shelf held 12 books no problem. When I moved I ended up just buying 6" brackets because the previous installation was such a headache and wow, doing that made reinstalling these so much easier.

Summary: Overall worth the price. 30-60 minutes to install. Walnut color purchased.Pros: Thickness and quality of shelves are great, color seems accurate to match our cabinets. Bracket that slides into shelf is strong metal as described.Cons: Cheap wall anchors provided, no template to help with mounting hole locations. Measure twice (or more), drill once, you'll have 8 large holes.Summary: As with most items you buy these days that mount to walls, they include cheap drywall anchors. I've seen worse, but if mounting into drywall (most will) it will absolutely will NOT hold 22lbs like shown, or anywhere near that without the shelf sagging a ton (or maybe falling off). They already sag without any weight. I recommend pop toggles (https://www.amazon.com/Hillman-Group-41415-Pop-Toggles/dp/B001MSCXZO) or similar which hold so much better. Even with that, they have a little sag due to the way the shelfs simply slide on, but it is hardly noticeable.

I love them! I bought these for our bathroom we recently remodeled and they fit the bill for the look I wanted. These are solid, very heavy shelves so I would highly recommend not using the anchors that come with and buy better quality ones. Husband had not issues installing.

They look nice enough; sort of a mild distressed look, at least on the ones I got, which is fine with me. But...They are NOT fun or even easy to install!First, the wall anchors I got had no FLANGE at the wall end. So when I tried to install the screw, the first anchor went right thru the wall into the cavity behind. Scratch that one. Thus, IMHO, the anchors I got were worthless and went right into the trash. Fortunately I had several others from saved hardware sets to choose from, and just used some of my own. However, not everyone might have that luxury!Second, even though I installed onto an otherwise flat sheetrock wall (I was able to get ONE SCREW from each "bracket" into a STUD by careful positioning; the second screw went into the aforementioned anchor) the two "brackets" are "toed out" a small amount (think of the two outer legs of the letter "W", with the bracket arms slightly farther apart at the outer end) and the shelf is difficult to push onto them. Once I got it on, it refused to sit flush on the wall across it's entire length! No fix for that at the moment. The gap with the wall at one end is almost a quarter inch!Third, there is nothing to keep the shelf in place on the two "bracket" arms. It is free to float in and out at will. If not for the previously mentioned tightness due to the "W" arm misalignment, I fear it might not want to stay in place. I briefly considered drilling a screw hole in the underside of the shelf where the mounting bracket slides into the shelf so I could insert a locking screw of sorts to make sure the shelf remained in place. I didn't bother because my shelf is tight due to the bracket misalignment. (And - NO - the spacing is not incorrect!)That about covers my comments about installation. Once installed, the shelf seems to look fine, except for the lack of flush fit to the wall. I have yet to even install the second shelf because of these issues. Perhaps with some time spent thinking on it, I can come up with my own, and hopefully better, mounting solution.

These floating shelves are beautiful and very sturdy. The package came with all of the screws, nails, and anchors needed to properly place the shelves on the wall. The length and width are perfect for medium tall and thin vases as well as pictures. I also like the fact that they come in different shades of wood.

When I wiped this shelf off with a damp cloth after it was installed to eliminate the dust the cloth had A LOT of stain transfer from the shelf to the cloth. It even transferred a bit onto my wall. The shelf is beautiful and I think it compliments my space nicely. Installation was not simple. The shelves needed a shim placed because the shelf had a significant lean to it even though it was fully on the wall (wood crooked?). I found the shelves to be overpriced for what I got.
