Bose Wave Music System IV - Espresso Black (Renewed)

I had a wave 2 that had lasted me for well over 15 years and then it went home to Jesus. I picked the new 4 up and I’m not disappointed. I love the look and especially the sound. The little wave radios never disappoint. Jazz and especially classical always sound like you’re actually hearing the music straight from a stage. Other genres are good too but those two really take it to a new level. I use this in my bedroom to fall asleep at night. It’s well worth the money. I have a $7k klh system and the bose competes a little on some level. Seriously… give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent product. Very expensive, $700.+. There was a problem with delivery. Delivery instructions were ignored. Amazon customer service response was to hang up on me REPEATEDLY instead of solving the problem or allowing me to talk to someone who could. I will be shopping elsewhere. Not worth it.

BOSE systems have been known and praised for their excellent sound. The unit I bought is reconditioned, but it's still expensive at $500. Yet I bought it because I have two other even older BOSE units and enjoy them in different rooms. The Wave Music System IV is a few years old--there's no Bluetooth though a third-party unit can be added on.

Plugged it in and it works just fine!

I have loved this Bose CD player for years, so I purchased this one for my sister’s birthday. She also absolutely loves it! She adores the sound quality and the remote (she can listen to music before bedtime & turn it off without leaving the bed. She uses the sleep mode and enjoys it (I do not use it).

System has a great sound but unfortunately performance is lacking. Mis-tracking on CDs is frequent (may briefly start then hit and miss; generally straightens out eventually but very annoying to begin). Sometimes mis-tracking can even occur on the middle of a play. Can perform okay once past initial start of a CD (meaning subsequent CDs played generally better).

It is a big improvement over my old clock radio for the dining room/living room and I love the remote control!

Worked great for 2 weeks then the CD player started cutting out. Returned the item, exchange was not available so I'm waiting for a credit refund at this time.

I love listening to the solid sound of FM radio be it informational or music stations. In my small living quarters the Bose radio sounds like I have a high end stereo system Pumping out radio waves. Yet, it is so compact.

This is a wonderful product from Bose. It’s very easy to set up. Antenna is very strong and the sound is absolutely fabulous. I had one of these for a few years. I just had to buy another one.

Sounds good but I had to send it back as there are issues with CD player.

Probably still the better option for a compact CD player, but remains pricey.
