This is good tortoise food, for pellets, but you don’t want to feed this or any other pellets often. It’s an occasional treat for my tortoise, and I feel strongly that it should remain that way for every tortoise owner. They need to be eating natural, edible weeds and flowers, or they will have serious health issues. Don’t be lazy and let your tortoise stuff their face with pellets every day, just because it’s easy. If you’re looking for shortcuts, then you should pass your tortoise on to someone who can give it exactly what it needs. With that said, Mazuri is the only pellets I will buy, and my tortoise enjoys it. If you’re new to Mazuri, make sure to wet the pellets before feeding. Otherwise, your tortoise will have some difficulties eating it.

My young sulcata tortoises loves this. I don’t even have to soak it. They eat it like puppies.

Needs to be offered in bigger than 8 Oz packages

My tortoise likes it’s. He hasn’t told me he hates it so I’ll keep buying more.
