This is the best angelica I have ever bought. Previously I could get small quantities in my local supermarket which I used for cake decorating, but it was tasteless and I never would have used it as an ingredient. I now can’t find it on sale in any supermarket so I bought this pack online. I am coeliac so I chose this brand over a cheaper one because this one states it is gluten-free. It arrived in a sealed package and after opening, I had to find an airtight container to store it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has a fresh flavour! Originally I bought it to decorate cakes, but I have just added some to a fruit cake and it adds a subtle extra flavour so I will use it as an ingredient too in future. When I ordered it I wondered what I would do with so large a quantity, but now I’m wondering when I will need to order my next bag!

Excellent product arrived on time as expected

Good value box of Angelica. I would give this 5 stars but the box was damaged in transit (the base cracked) and I received a very sticky mess which had seeped out of the plastic wrapping and into the large Amazon envelope that this arrived in. I had to decant the contents into another container and would have preferred not to have had to do this.

Very hard to find this product now. Delicious, good value, best quality and of course, the beautiful green I need for my cake decoration. Large amount but I'm sure I'll get through it!

For some reason, unknown to most, angelica disappeared from supermarket shelves a few years ago. I have missed it, mainly to make 'leaves' for cherries on top of a traditional trifle at Christmas. Then I saw this packet of angelica while trawling through Amazon for Christmas gifts. I immediately bought it to try. You get a good sized amount for the 100 grams in a sealed branded plastic packet. It is just like the original type I used to buy, although this one is in longer pieces. It seems to me to be a better quality, all round. I will buy again.

Nice item to include in a Christmas cake recipe!

I use this product for a particular Chrustmas cake recipe. The size of the pack is ideal, 100 grams is enough , it's a good colour and suits purpose.

Even when I cut it into small pieces I still can’t digest it. It’s very tough and woody. I bought it for a special dessert that included angelica mixed in with rice pudding glace cherries topped with a layer of apple purée and finally topped with beaten egg whites to make a meringue and then baked in the oven. A lovely dessert ruined by this awful wooden Angelica. It was expensive and a complete waste of my money as I can’t use it for anything as it’s quite inedible.
