A good starting place to acquire more information on the subject. We were looking into getting some sort of insurance to protect our daughter from being effected by our possible decline.

Maybe I would have done better to get the written book, although the author specifies that material can be found on website. Will have to look there to complete getting notes about long term care.

This book is a must read for every person over age 30. Reality check and valuable insight on elderly parental care plans, as well as plans for yourself in case you ever need long term care. Don't wait until you have a family crisis to purchase this book. Remember, you do not have rights if you don't know what they are.

I have read this twice and will be referencing it as my mother and I negotiate her journey through life choices including home help, independent living, assisted living and nursing home care. I recommend it highly as a preparation for discussion with local elder care attorneys.

I know of no book that equals this one for revealing important details and opening ones eyes to vital parts of maintaining your rights as a nursing home resident.

I was recommended this book to help me in working with my senior clients. It is full of wonderful useful information, especially for women.

I've worked in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. This information is presented in easy to understand language and it great for someone who doesn't understand Medicare/Medicaid and how those systems work. EXCELLENT piece of work which I'll keep handy for reference.
