They did their job
Used for securing bbq shelter. Filled with sand. Bought last year and they helped the shelter stay in place over winter. Tested by strong winds, snow and rain. Being black in colour, are quite discreet. Good strong quality.

Do not come pre-filled
I got these sand bags just yesterday to help support a cantilever-style parasol. They do not come pre-filled which I was not aware of, so if you’re buying these bags or any of the type of bag, make sure that you buy some sand to go with them. UPDATE. I got some plastic 4 pint milk bottles and filled them with water and put one per pouch. They seem to be working. I also put more water in the parasol base too.

Ok for a calm day
I put 2 x 2ltr water bottles in each pouch which is ok on a calm day. I use guy ropes if there is more than a slight breeze.
