What a range of emotions in this gripping novel. Full of unexpected twists and turns. It is certainly one to keep you reading into the small hours. Couldn't put it down. Worth every moment.

It is a good, original story. First published in 1979 it is showing its age. It reminded me, nostalgically, of 'The Way We Were' and will also bring tears to your eyes.

This must be one of Danielle Steel best books ever. Difficult to put down, a fabulous read from start to finish.

I have read nearly all of Danielle Steel books & so I thought to myself I would start again with her earlier ones. I usually cannot put her books down but it took me some time to read this one. I couldn't get into it.

Love author and used foe holiday reading

I am a great fan of DS, but for me this book was not one of her best. I found myself skipping through pages just to get to the point of the chapter, so for that reason I have only given the book 4 stars. I cannot fault DS writing or the characters but this is not a book that I would read again or recommend.

I would not put this book down. Excellent storyline. One of her best. It was imaginative and fresh. It was very easy to reaxe.
