Full pans and highly pigmented? I’ll never run out !
I like to spend time with my products, get a feel for If it’s truly performing as expected. But with these paints, I will make an exception. They. Are. Pigmented. They flow well in water, not any differently from other watercolors i have used. They arrive semimoist and I have not seen any dry out despite leaving the lid to my palette open all the time. They mix nicely. I love them. A dab of paint goes a long way and it encourages me to actually use them instead of hiding them away for something special. I love these watercolors. There are a few issues, issues I was aware of before purchasing. I had three paints that weren’t filled to full. It was a red, a green, and a dark brown. That being said, the paint is so pigmented I don’t think I’ll be running out of those colors any time soon. The pans do like a collection of random tubs they picked up, some are white, clear and even a dark green one. It doesn’t bother me, they stay in the palette and I hardly notice the containers. The palette they come in is disappointing. I was hoping it would be plastic so I could mix on the lid, but it was a cardboard package without and color sheet with the names on it. You have to translate the pans individually from Russian with the labels on the tins and the labels on the bottom of the box. I didn’t feel like doing all that work but I did swatch them and was pleased. If I could’ve picked different colors I would’ve added a more vibrant red. The one that comes with it is just a tad too dull for me, but hardly noticeable. I’m going to call the dark brown burnt umber. This color dries cooler than it appears at first, making it more of a neutral pigment than a brown. I’m not going to test the lightfastness since I don’t sell original prints but for my hobby this suits me just fine. I bought this set under the impression that st petersburg is the American distributer of the white knights paints. I can’t confirm this to be true or not, but they are Russian and highly pigmented and a joy to use. At this point even if they aren’t white knights I won’t be disappointed. I recommend this set for beginners and hobbyists, if you’re a professional you’re probably buying Daniel Smith rubes anyway.

A repeat and two VERY close blue/greens but I don't mind
These WC's are terrific, especially for the price. Swatched them to show color range. They do pick up pretty easily, though most are staining and will leave some color behind, so if you need to completely erase, you'll have to scrape paper. My husband interrupted me when I was between sepia and madder lake, hence the mess-up there. The pans are not true full pans--they're slightly narrower as shown in the image attached. Still a lot of lovely, pigmented paint for the price with *** ratings for lightfastness. I got two violets, which I don't actually mind since it's hard to find a good purple, this one is lovely, and it's my favorite color to use. Also got two blue/greens which seem VERY close though did have different names/numbers. Again, don't mind because I love the color. Overall, a very nice set for the price.

Great variety
What a great selection of colors and hues. I took these to Italy and Iceland on private painting expeditions and was confident to submit them for watercolor prints, greeting cards and one painting will even appear in a national magazine with its story. If anyone is aware of this manufacture offering a shell case to carry them into the field it would be greatly appreciated.

Very friendly paints....
Outside of color stability eveything else is a pleasure to paint with. I haven't used it long enough to judge color steadfastness. Wonderful palate of colors.

Valuable
So far, out of all the water color products I’ve tried. (Which, is too many go list.) This is the most pigmented. For the cost; yes, I’m shook. This pallet has a great selection of hues, they’re all rich, no translucent. They blend well. Yes, I do recommend this product and may even get replaced for another brand that I normally stock at a much higher cost.
