I am impressed with the quality and beauty of this bonsai clay pot. It has exceeded my expectations. The unglazed clay gives it a beautiful earthy look and is sturdy, yet not to heavy. The drainage holes are well sized and I did not have to do my own drilling. It was ready to plant in as soon as it arrived! Great value for the money

This is a great pot. It looks great and was the perfect size for what I needed. The drainage is a good size and very efficient. I planted my grafted ficus in it and immediately realized a couple of issues though. The tray that comes with it is decorative. It's not catching any water. I could tell this from the pictures so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I applied mesh and then wired my tree to the pot but there's in inset area for the wires to sit. This keeps it from sitting flat. I ended up sitting the tree on a pebble plate to account for this. The photo I attached is on my desk under a couple of grow lights for the winter. You can see the plate underneath it.

Good quality pot for my bonsai.

I have to admit I felt like a total idiot ordering this bonsai pot. $30(ish)?! For a planter pot?! A bonsai pot?! But when it arrived all my fears were put to rest. This is a really nice, well made pot that definitely feels like $25ish of value. It's somewhat heavy, I'd estimate around a pound or even two. And feels like it's made of stoneware. It has that concrete feel to the touch. And comes with some cute plastic bonsai tools and a mesh screen for the drainage hole on the bottom. It's a very nice planter and I plan on putting my best tree inside it once it's grown a little bigger :) good stuff. I can recommend this pot.

These pots are ideal for bonsai plants. They are well made and your plants will look great in them. They come with a bamboo tray, a mesh to prevent soil falling through the bottom and 2 gardening tools, so well worth the price. I’ve ordered this item 3 times and shipping and packaging has been great with no breakages.

Great Product

This planter came so well packaged and nothing was damaged. It is actually bigger than what I had imagined but I’m so glad that it is because I was worried it would be too shallow but it’s not. The tones on this planter gives me Japanese zen vibes and it also has a really good weight to it. I was pleasantly surprised to find 2 potting utensils inside the box which I really enjoyed using. It actually looks so much nicer in person and feels expensive.
