The brackets are well-made: no rough edges, flat, clean holes, stiff, and there's no hole at the corner. However, origin appears to be the UK, which is metric, as are the quoted dimensions. BUT THERE ARE NO SCREWS INCLUDED!?A US #8 fits (diametrically), but the countersink angle is wrong, and the head is low (not flush). A US #9 also fits and is almost flush, but the angle is also wrong. A US #10 fits, but the head is high (not flush), and the angle is again wrong. Wrong angle = leaks if exposed to rain, which is the environment I will use these brackets.
