I have had this for probably 6 to 7 months now and I wanted to make a review after using it for a long while, and I can say that this ramp is phenomenal and easy to use. All you have to do is open it a five-year-old could do it. It’s a perfect length that goes from my porch step down to the grass. It lets me hold all the weight of my electric wheelchair down the ramp with ease and then you could just fold it right back up and put it away with easy storage. There’s not even a centimeter of an inch of slip resistance issues. I don’t feel any sleeping whatsoever. I could literally roll slow slowly down the ramp with my electric wheelchair and still not slipped down it. This is definitely a great buy.

I am in video production and fairly regularly need to load equipment from my house out to my car. Unfortunately, my car can't be parked directly outside my door so I usually use a rolling cart to get everything to my car. My front door has 2 steps down to the sidewalk so this meant I had to carry the cart outside, and then carry each item out to pack it onto the cart, and then wheel the cart to my car. Not fun to do at 5 or 6 in the morning! With this ramp, I can load the cart in my house the night before, and just roll it right out the door to the car. Easy! The ramp feels super sturdy and I can stand on it with no issues. It's lightweight enough to pick up and store in the house. It folds up and stays securely folded thanks to the security pins. In terms of the time and effort it's saved me, it's already paid for itself. IMPORTANT NOTE: I am using the 5 foot ramp to go up and down 2 steps., as you can see in my photo. For this many steps, I would highly recommend using a longer ramp if you're a wheelchair user or pushing someone in a wheelchair. I can easily roll my cart down the ramp, but it's pretty difficult to roll it up due to the steep angle. I could imagine it would be nearly impossible to do in a wheelchair. This is expected because this listing says the maximum height for a wheelchair is 5 inches, and a cart is 14". The height of my steps is about 18", which explains why it's a little difficult to push the cart up. (I would buy a longer ramp, but then my cart would not have room to turn at the bottom of the ramp before rolling off the sidewalk and into the street.)

This ramp works perfectly. Easy to use and easy to fold up when not needed. Purchase for a family member who need access to our house. Did not like the way the hinges were mounted and was afraid someone my tripped due to the hinges and removed the hinges. This wheel chair ramp will be fixed and not moved.

Very sturdy ramp. Great for transition for 1 step. But it is heavy. 25 pounds. So for me, not easily portable. If you leave it in same place for a while will be great.

The build and quality of the ramp are amazing. This ramp is portable, light, and easy to secure in place.

This ORFORD NON-SKID WHEELCHAIR RAMP (5FT, Non-Slip Surface, Portable) is a sturdy, lightweight ramp, but it is barely wide enough to accommodate my husband's Medline manual wheelchair. Unfolded, the ramp measures just 28-1/2" wide, which leaves about 1" on each side of the wheels when the chair is on the ramp. My husband's Quickie powered wheelchair is narrower, so the ramp width is almost adequate. However, the powered wheelchair weighs at least 330 lbs. (without a person in it), so the 600-lb. capacity of the 5-foot ramp is barely enough. I don't feel that this ramp is safe for everyday use by a disabled person unless a caregiver is present to supervise wheelchair placement. It is simply too narrow for comfort. I think that a width of 29-1/2" unfolded is the absolute minimum for unsupervised use of a wheelchair ramp.

The quality is great, easy to use,. Exactly as advertised. Unfortunately we should have bought a much longer one. However we will use this one for another area.
