Monitors look good, and the swivel works well.

Good monitor, missing hdmi, lacking black depth
Pros:Very clear and brightGreat size for 1080p, text is a good size and easily readableColor reproduction is great, good for photo/video editingDisplayPortFully adjustable stand, once you go adjustable, there's no looking backCons:Movie quality is just not there on this monitor. Based on other reviews, I was aware of this.Where's an HDMI when you need one?D-SUB really? The monitor ships with a D-Sub and DVI cable, but not DisplayPort cable. Now I have to go buy a cable.Other Thoughts: I needed this monitor for coding and editing photo/video. It is going to be really good for that. I can see text very clearly without enlarging it. I can't on many other monitors. It pretty bright also, a concern of mine when purchasing, but turns out, this thing has more than enough brightness. The stand swivels on a carousel built into the base. It's also pretty tall when fully extended. Great to have. It's one of those things you miss when you have a stationary base. I feel it's worth the extra money.I wish the movie quality was better in this monitor. Black depths are lacking and you will notice artifacts during playback in dark areas. Also, probably not a great gaming monitor above 60fps, just doesn't have the response time or refresh rate to compete with better 144hz offerings. But that's what I'm using my old Samsung 2232GW 1050p 2ms glossy monitor for. Can't have it all sometimes. I'll be looking for a glossy 27"-29" 1440p 144hz very soon to replace my aging 22" Samsung.Go with glossy screen if you want better black depths.Setup Tip: The monitor comes out of the box in portrait orientation, leave it in that position until you hook up your wires to make it a lot easier to plug everything in. The audio line-in jack is in a really awkward position.
