MediaDevil Screen Protector for HTC One M7 (2013) - Crystal Clear Edition Film (2-Pack)

So after struggling to like this product MediaDevil reached out to me. They provided me with a second package of screen protectors. This time around the results were much better. Seems to be a pretty good protector for the price. The limitation being it is still plastic so it will collect scratches and have to be replaced after a month or two. No big deal as they are relatively cheap.

Tried both of them and ended up with air bubbles and lack of adhesion along one of the sides of the HTC One. On to the next screen protector.Update on 6/16/2013: MediaDevil responded immediately to my review and concerns and sent me another packet to try. Bravo for their customer care!!! I will try it when the one I did finally get to work is no longer useful... Review and rating changed.

Update:Absolutely brilliant customer service; they sent me the "matte" version to try out in response to my review (along with another 2 candies, which I rather like at this point) and I greatly prefer it to this "clear" version. The matte screen protector keeps away fingerprints, and it's still transparent too! To specify, the first screen I applied was very exact in width, and a tiny hair short on the height. The new screen I received was very exact in both width and height, so I'm happy.These may cost a tiny bit more than some protectors, but it's worth it.Original Review:Excellent packaging, and a nice treat (literally - it came with 2 candies). Clear instructions in multiple languages, a flat card (for smooth application), and a microfiber cloth were also included.I can understand why some reviewers felt it was difficult to apply the screen protector - This screen protector was the most accurate one I've ever applied, so if you're off, the edges will rise up. Installation wasn't easy, but it isn't impossible either. I ended up with a small dust speck on the very edge, but that's my own fault (and it's not visible once I have my case on it).When I got my HTC One, I noticed that the surface didn't collect fingerprints like mad (unlike an iPod Touch I had). I think this screen protector reveals fingerprints more than the original surface. While it's easy enough to wipe the screen, it might have been a better choice to go with the Anti-glare/Anti-fingerprint version...? Something to consider. Given the choice, I don't know which I would go for.Overall, excellent product. Hopefully, it will also last.

I would first like to say that i usually don't write reviews (there are plenty of stellar/well-written ones on here already and i'm just not that good at writing them), but this product was so awesome, i felt inclined to do so.I've have purchased several screen protectors for this phone already and i just wound up tossing them in the trash, not so with this one. I'm not a patient person and have fidgety hands, but this was so easy to put on.I put 2 pieces of scotch tape on the the top and bottom of the screen protector(this way it was easy for me to lift and re-apply when needed)& i was able to position the screen protector perfectly (although it took me several attempts because it is precisely cut to fit the phone perfectly). All i had left to do was smooth out the air bubbles with the included smoother-outer squeegee-thingee or whatever it's called, lol, and i was done, all the bubbles were gone (the remainder cleared over-night).The screen is so clear and i didn't lose any sensitivity on the touch screen, i forget it's even on the phone. I also wanted to mention, i would carry the included (or your own) micro-fiber cloth, it's a fingerprint magnet (they mostly all are), but it cleans relatively easy.So in conclusion, if you have the HTC-ONE, go out and by this awesome screen protector and protect your investment (they also send you candy, which was yummy by the way).

I don't think it's the product's fault that it was annoying to apply, that seems standard for these things. What might be the product's fault was that, on both screens, it seemed impossible to get it so that there wasn't a long airbubble along one edge or the other. Maybe it was too ambitious in total screen coverage? I could have dealt with it, and lived with a couple of bubbles, but the texture was just a little bit too different for me. It didn't feel as smooth. Ended up ditching it, and hoping that Gorilla Glass on phone protects itself. Good luck, phone.

Some of the reviews said that the screen protector was too small for the htc one- definitely not true!! Those reviews had me really worried, but once i applied the protector, it fit perfectly on the screen. The one thing though, is that the actual htc one's screen seems better at resisting smudges, but it's not that big a deal since you can't see the smudges on the screen protector unless you shine a light on it when the screen is off. For me, it's not that big a deal really.Definitely try applying it in a humid room to reduce the chances of dust in the air landing on the screen (I ran the shower for about 5 minutes before applying the screen protector in the bathroom).In terms of how noticeable it is- my cousins were shocked when I told them I had a screen protector on when they were using my phone. It might as well not be there! It doesn't impede on the screen quality or feel of the screen on your fingers. For the price I paid (about $10) it is definitely a high quality screen protector. And I didn't mess up the first time, so I have an extra one for when I have to change the screen protector! Must Buy! :)

...this is virtually impossible to fit to a phone screen. Had several attempts and ended up using both screen protectors included. Firstly, it is extremely difficult to line up with the phone's screen and secondly, after multiple attempts, I could not get the screen protector on without awful looking bubbles appearing under the protector. They suggest on their website that if you get bubbles appearing, to lift up the screen protector and, using the card provided, smooth down the screen even harder with the card - I did this, but it ended up damaging the screen protector, leaving scratch marks on it. Beware, if you buy this, there is a good chance that you will end up failing to get the screen protector on your phone and ultimately wasting your money. As I've got an HTC One, a phone with a bigger screen than an iPhone for instance, then it is even harder to line up the screen accurately. I've fitted screen protectors before, and it's always been much easier than with this product. So, be warned!

I have used similar screen protectors before with ease. Unfortunately these were poor. The protector did not seem to fit to the edge of the screen. It was very difficult to remove bubbles and both had corners that would not stick. I am afraid they went in the bin.

I had these for my IPhone and they worked really well. These as another reviewer said don't stick at one edge. This was not a one off. I used two packs of them and they all came off within two days. I now have a scratched screen!

Sadly the instructions were not obvious and I wasn't able to get rid of air bubbles even when I followed the video instructions. A shame because looking at other reviews I was sure this was an excellent buy.

This screen protector is not worth the money. The back of it does not stick properly to the phone and keeps lifting when you catch it. Waste of money!
