Perfect rice for paella!

I bought this for my Dad who couldn't find authentic bomba in any of the local grocery stores. Bought this and it came in time for our outdoor cookout which was a huge plus. Delicious rice, but I think that part lies within the chef.

Rice was packaged very well. Made paella with part of it and was fabulous. Great quality bomba rice.

I received the rice and paella pan three days ago and cooked paella for the first time. The majority of friends said that rice really makes the paella and all agreed this rice is outstanding. Reduction of one star due to rice bag falling apart, but was salvageable since it arrived in a padded shipping container. Making another purchase today.

Yes, you can fall in love with rice. I can say this is wonderful rice. People underestimate the difference that great ingredients make, even if they seem basic like rice - rice is anything but basic. I adore this product. Spain's agricultural professionals know what they are doing with rice cultivation. This rice is wonderful for many culinary uses not just paella. Of course your paella will have that sublime special taste and texture if you use this. But I use it for many dishes and even just to eat plain white rice, yes it is that good. I wish I could order a 25lb bag. Now more details - each grain is whole, no broken grains, the starch level is perfect. It is forgiving, meaning if you use a little extra water it won't be mushy. If you have never tried the various rices from Spain, please do. They are remarkable and make me want to move to Spain. Enjoy!

Used in paella. Great choice … it was a choice. Long grain (Jasmine), short grain (Arborio) … as examples. Went with a number of reviews and didn’t go wrong. It bloomed and absorbed all surrounding flavors. Maintained its form and still had substance while had a great feel and taste. Did a trial run and enjoyed the results. Doubled the ingredients, adjusted flavors and ingredients and served it to a dinner party. Great feedback … the rice was called out specifically as a key to the dinner. Great stuff will add it to the pantry as a good option.
