Think of Skincuetical’s triple layer restore is very similar; however, this isn’t quite the lipid ratio that mimic our skin barrier 2:4:2. Great for soothing and protecting skin barrier. If you use any harsh actives like strong retinols or acids, this can help soothe the skin barrier or be the first step before the retinol.

K beauty is a thing nowadays but this is something I can def. recommend. This product is very affordable, makes the skin very moisturizing, help to improve skin texture, lightweight yet your skin glows from moisturizing. Totally recommending to so many ppl and my husband is also stealing this one on the side. I’m normal skin type and my husband is combination type. We both love this one!

As probably with most who have purchased this, it was on James Welsh's Holy grail items. I have mature skin. This works amazingly! It does feel a bit sticky, or tacky. But for the amount of softness and absolute repairing it does, it is something I can put up with. I just make certain my face is still damp from either toner or essence. This lessens the tacky feeling. Also I use it at night primarily since I really don't care about the feel when I retire. Works wonders!! Will purchase again and again!!!

There are so many overpriced ceramide ampoules on the market and I was looking for a less exorbitant alternative to the Babor ones. (Those also come in little plastic ampoules that you have to break every time you use the product — super annoying and wasteful.) I love how this gives some extra TLC to my skin, especially if I’ve gotten a little irritated from my Tretinoin or otherwise need to restore my skin barrier. It has no scent and is not sticky. I use it most nights and will purchase again.

Nothing was fixing my skin barrier after I messed it up from starting adapalene and benzoyl peroxide at same time even sealing in moisturizer with Vaseline so I looked up ceramide products and most don't have very much of it in products or if it does its expensive. I found this serum and for the price I was like yes! Not sure why some are acting like it's expensive, for what it is and per ounce it's really not expensive at all. In just a week I could feel the difference when for weeks I had been trying to fix barrier and nothing had made huge difference. I was using 2 layers of the serum under moisturizer twice a day for first week and now I'm just doing 2 layers once a day at night. It's hydrating and kinda moisturizing too at same time but I think all skin types would like it. With 1 layer it's not sticky but with 2 it gets a bit sticky but whatever I don't mind I enjoy the hydration.

I have sensitive skin. I need a good skin barrier support serum on standby whenever my skin gets angry. I have tried many but I keep going back to this one.
