This is a two-way volume, French-to-English and English-to-French, packed with useful information on up-to-date words and phrases. It is a good reference book for beginners and beyond but not for the advanced user.

It’s alright. Had thought it would be English to French as well.

A good dictionary to have on hand. I prefer having a book over searching things on the Internet. I think this adds valued to our younger generations. I bought this so that my daughter can keep it in her desk at school for times when she’s not allowed to use the device to correct her spelling or search the meaning of words. I would recommend it for any parent of a young child to get them used to looking up words old-fashioned way
