K&S K & S Precision Metals 1160 Round Solid Brass Rod, 1/16" OD x 36" Length, 5 pc/pk, Made in USA

I chose to buy these brass rods from K & S because they were a good price (although not the lowest price). In the end I actually ended up choosing K & S because I thought the tube would protect them from bending during shipping as well as a safe way to store them. Disappointed that they didn't arrive in a tube as shown in the photo.

They arrived in a very oversized box as a measure of protection.

I needed the 3 ft lengths for a specific project, but I thought the price was a little high for 5 pcs. Turns out they mean there are two rods in each pc. So, I got 10 rods, which makes this a really good purchase. Way better than I expected. I was willing to go a little higher for the lengths, but now it works out to be cheaper than if I bought 1 ft lengths. I'm a happy camper ;)

They were not in a clear plastic tube with a stopper. They were loose in a large thin box. Both rods were bent on one end.

These 36 inch rods were bent in more that one place when delivered. For my use it did not matter because I needed to cut them into smaller lengths anyway. But for buyers who need straight 36 inch rods I don't recommend buying these, as they would be difficult to straighten.

Rod was as described. I must of missed it when ordering, but I thought I was only getting 1 rod, when it is actually 5 rods. Needless to say, I have more than enough for my hobby needs.
