I'm glad I didnt rate this fragrance when I first bought it because it used to be extremely overloaded with cloves I left it to age and now I kinda understand the appeal it's a very dry, astringent, spicy, fresh, and clean fragrance. I'd be lying if I said it doesn't remind me of laundry detergent but I can't hate on this. The fragrance is a bit dated I'll give it that, it evokes barbershop with grandpa vibes, the bottle is glass and came fully intact with no leakage. The quality and longevity is surprisingly good for such a cheap price. In regards to what exactly it smells like, I'd say this is in the same group as those old classic fragrances from the 80 and 90s like Drakkar Noir and YSL Kourous, it's heavily spiced with cinnamon and cloves but you get woody pine resin, bright citrus fruits, earthy patchouli, and I'm getting some sweetness like honey and powdery soap. This lasts ages on my skin and it's fairly powerful we're talking about 8+hours and it'll grab people's attention for sure it's loud but maybe too loud of a small office/enclosed working environment. Not a safe blind buy but for this price, maybe it is.
