Polar CS500+cad Heart Rate Monitor

Would have rated it higher , perhaps it just me, but as usual, Polar instructions are written as if translated from a language not native to the Earth. Device itself is what I expected. It was easy to install, although attaching the cadence magnet by wrapping tape around the crank is a little low tech. It provides all of the ride related information that I want and a bit more and it seems likely I will ultimately sort out the instructions and be able to use all of the functionality built into the device.

Too expensive

Works as advertised. The screen is easily readable due to characters size. What I don't like is that you can't change batteries on the speed and cadence sensors, but buy new ones when they are depleted. I understand the reasoning of having them sealed against the elements, but it there are many ways to maintain a good IP rating while being able to change batteries. Anyway I recommend it. Hopefully they will last as long as they advertise they do.

This computer is an absolute digital awesomeness. I am not a Pro-Elite-Club rider, I am just your average Joe trying to get up there. This computer is very easy on the eyes, accurate and best of all, it does not look like the others. Looks very pro, the sounds for the alarms are very audible even against the wind and is very readable even with sun on top. The glass is not so reflective and the menu is very intuitive. On and all, the price is fair, the data is plenty and useful and with the Polar brand you know that your computer will be there for years to come.Still the same review on 5/6/2020 if you find one, get it!

Decided to replace my old CS200 with this one. Like very much the big display and all the additional features like the altimeter. Definitely a very good option for the price.

The polar CS500 works excellente, but the speed and cadence battery only last for 4 months of use and then I have to buy another piece of each one because it doesn't allows you to change the battery! The make you to buy new one of each ando the cost is 80 USD, almost the same cost of a new polar watch!

This is a great cycling computer big display easy to set up and use. The cadence feature has really helped me go longer and faster. for the money with heart rate monitor this unit is a better buy than the Garmin to me because you still have to buy a heart rate monitor with the Garmin which is already $100.00 more than the Polar.

Polarのサイクリング用測定器はこれで4代目ですが、心拍計を中心に安定した測定値を提供してくれ、安心して使用出来ます。サイクリング機能も従来通りで、特に迷う事なく使用できました。また、一番の特徴である本体を傾けてON/OFFする操作は、表示の大きさとも相まってなかなかよくできています。ただ、自転車から外して操作する際は（裏面のボタンを操作）少し慣れが必要な気がします。

見やすいし操作しやすいし機能性は大満足です。心拍計も極めて正確です。ところが購入して1月も経たないうちにスピードセンサーが電池切れ。この点は話になりませんでした。

この値段なら、必要十分ですが、想像以上にサイズがデカく、小学生低学年の手のひらくらいあります。

・購入して3日、使用2時間で本体のディスプレイにスピードセンサー電池切れの表示が出ました。　長期在庫品だったのでしょうか？　センサーだけ交換してもらいたかったのですが、アマゾンのシステムでは商品の全部を送る方法しかないようだったので　自分で殻割して電池交換しました。（本来はユーザーでの交換はできないようになっています。）・ケイデンスセンサーの反応させる為のマグネットの磁力が弱く反応しないので他社のマグネットで対応しました。本体の機能は満足しているので上記のように工夫して使ってます。
