Great for open carry, not really concealed.
I like it a lot. I bought it for my 92FS. It has two mounts provided, the belt loop mount (the one I thought I was going to use) and the much larger hard plastic under-pant mount. The loop mount allowed the gun to move around too much. The slots are too large for an average sized belt and it tends to twist due to the weight. The larger plastic mount looks a little bit absurd but is very comfortable. The bulk of it goes under your pants. It curves and conforms to your hip and stabilizes your gun very well. It also has three hooks. one that goes on the underside of your pants and two that go on the outside. They hook very well to a belt and make it impossible for the holster to be pulled off of you.The active push-button detention works great. If someone tried to disarm you they would have to know about the button and even if they did, it would be very awkward and difficult at a third-person angle. Yet it is effortless to draw because the button is inline with your trigger finger. So when you grip the gun and draw your finger is already in a straight line just below the barrel where it should be. Your right hand grip is already perfect. The passive retention is kind of useful but not in the way you would expect. It has a screw that basically clamps down on the gun and creates friction between the gun and the holster. If it didn't have the retention button I would say this is a good idea but putting pressure on the gun just makes it harder to draw. However I found early on that if the screw is too loose the gun will jump around when you are running. When you adjust the screw just right it hold the gun firm but also allows for a quick and easy draw.

A Bear to Assemble
The product comes as a bunch of parts. Page 16 makes the installation of the two wrap around Snaplock tabs seem a "snap" - they are a bear to get registered as seen in the photo. They are needed to close up the gap to match your belt width. It was 20 minutes of work with three different sets of pliers, taking care to not damage anything. A changeover to a wider/narrower belt is likely a repeat exercise. So, choose a belt or paddle, get it set up and it is probably not a good idea to be swapping things around between the two or making frequent belt adjustments.

Look No Further
If you have to wear a gun, or use one extensively at the range, you know that finding the right holster is as complicated and time consuming as finding the right lover. The BlackHawk CQC is not only the perfect fit for the B92FS, but Black Hawk understand large frame pistols. This holster is infinately adjustable, both for draw tension, and cant (forward or back depending upon shooter preference); the wide pancake not only steadily anchors a heavy weapon like the Beretta with a full magazine; but it does so comfortabley; without dragging you pants down. A belt loop attachment is also included in the price (you can switch off from pancake to belt retainer by removing and replacing a few screws). Extremely durable, as fast as you want to make it, and best of all, for safety, the trigger guard lever access puts your trigger finger in a natural position along side the trigger at the draw. And have no fear: the weapon will not come out of this rig unless you make a positive draw. All-in-all the best of the best.

Very good for the money.
I purchased this holster with little use intended when the serpa is desired. My 92FS fits loosely but is retained well. Overall, it's what I was looking for. If I wanted an EDC, I would have gone with something better... This is great for the money.

Tried an idea but failed.
I've used Serpa before and loved it but I bought this one intending to use it with a Taurus PT92 and the trigger guard doesn't quite fit. The lock mechanism seems a bit weak anyway and I question if it could really thwart a full-on pistol grab by a sleazebag. I know it is losing approval on some police forces but I hope Blackhawk is still making a superior product and if so, manages to sell department heads on their system. Looks very sharp and otherwise fits the pistol well.

Great Fit, secure but quickly accessible
Fits great and keeps the weapon secured when very active, yet easily and quickly accessible. I already use on a paddle holster but wanted a second for my drop leg holster!

Great Holster, Good Price
I bought this for my Beretta 92FS. It fits perfectly and functions flawlessly. Everything included in the product description is accurate. It offers great retention yet with a little practice, the index finger can easily and quickly release the retention as the gun is drawn. The cut out of the front of the holster allows the gun to be drawn as if from a much shorter holster. There is an adjustable bar on the belt loops that can be raised or lowered to fit any belt up to 2 1/4 ". Mine in on a 2" duty belt so I removed the adjustable bar. I'm not a fan of paddle holsters so I put that option away in case I ever want to use it. The holster may be concealable in a version for smaller guns. I wouldn't call it concealable for mine when carried on my hip. It stands out from the belt a full 2". Maybe if carried in the appendix position with a bulky coat or sweater it might evade detection. This is not a carbon fibre holster. It has a thin panel this which wraps around the the forward half of the holster and appears to be carbon fibre. It probably offers a degree of durability where applied, but otherwise is for appearance and does look good. With free shipping and less tax than I would have paid locally, I saved $10 or $12 buying it on Amazon.
